Offhand, I almost just skipped the whole dang day today. Maidens, unfigurable DANG favorites, short fields.

Ba.. ba.. BUT, NOW I see that thorn is out of the 3rd race and I do believe that the no. 4 or the 7 will be in the Wiener's Circle when this race is done. NOW, gotta see them and then see how to betem.

edited: one more thing... not betting with single, stinkin dollars with the 4 or7 on top, but AM betting small with them nailing the place spot as a backup.

Well, I did like the 4 a little better and bet that race when he was 9/5. Also used nos. 1 and 2 with the top picks in exactas.

Overall - you can't win any moola by colleciting $2.80 and $2.60 payoffs.
BUT you can lose some

Believe me, I was pulling alright.. for the 6 though. Doubled up the tri bets with that one on TOP and also did the side action thing with that no. 6. That helped a bit.

Only other one i'd give an outside shot to in here is the no. 5, Well Polished.

Great race to WATCH that is, unless ya bet the 7 and the 8. Both were right there all the way. SOB.

That no. 2 looked pretty bad in the paddock and he's the one that beat out my 8 in the zacta. Went with the 7 and 8 to win, only in that race as well. Zacks were 10 and 11 with the 7,8. Oh well, getting a good run for the money ain't good enough in this game.

Wish the #7 would have run 2nd in the 9th, had a $10.00 Exacta Box 5,7,11, to "PAD" my profits for the day. Still won $141.50 @ Philly Park Today!!!
