Dragon said this NY Knick team is an enigma. The ENIGMA is Latrell Sprewell......the guy is either totally on or totally off!!!

-On MLK Day vs. the Hornets, Spree has 0 pts for the game. Twenty-three minutes on the floor and he didn't score 1 pt.

-Then, on Saturday against Mil........EVERYTHING Spree put up went down!!! He drops in 48 pts (most during regulation) and ties a team record with 9 three pointers in the game.

-Spree's the key to this over tonight. Will he be on or off????

-Since that pit-a-ful Charlotte game last week, this Knick team seems to have been embarrassed into playing better bball. In the 3 games since the MLK Day 68 point "stinker".......they have won all 3 and scored:

129<----2 OT
96
96

-Chaney ripped his team good after that Hornet's game saying they just "quit"! Apparently, he or the NY media got the NY players' attention because it has been a huge 3 game turn around.

-On the Philly side of the ball, I'd like them better if they weren't coming off that big LAL game on Sunday.

-In the last 9 Philly games....they have managed 91 or better in each outing: 93, 106, 91, 98, 97, 93, 112, 101 and 91.

-Iverson and Brown seem to have "made up" and AI is back to light'n it up.....averaging over 36/gm in the last 5:

29
47
34
38
34<----on Jan. 19 against NY in Philly

-That would give rise to the theory we should be able to count on Philly for 90+ tonight? (Just wished they weren't coming off that LAL game.)

-For the season both teams are averaging 90 pts/game. We have a line....once again....right at both teams' seasonal averages. (Can't Vegas be a little more creative than that???)

-In the last meeting on Jan. 19, the 6'ers beat the Knicks 97-89. Philly out rebounded NY 56-39. For NY to win tonight, Camby is going to have to play bigger than he did last time agianst Mutombo.

-Finally, NY doesn't seem to be playing with the defensive intensity they were earlier in the season under Van Gundy. The early season Knick defense woulda never allowed that Buck game to get to 1 OT.......little lone 2!

-Best thing that happened to NY Saturday was Camby finally fouling out!!!! His goal-tend on the 3 pointer, failure to foul Allen before the end of regulation and the stupid foul to help send the game to another OT....ya really wonder....what Camby was think'n???

I not as confident about a side on this one...but...I do like the over 180.

A close game down-to-the-wire....with a few touch fouls is always a good possiblity and I like the over's chances tonight.

I agree totally about the defensive intensity not being the same since Van Gundy left. I also think they don't hold the ball as much offensively; not nearly as many 23 second possessions.

Valuist.....hope'n there are very few 23 second possessions tonight.

I see the line is now down to 179' and 90 on this Philly/NY total. Vegas wants to mess with us on these early line moves. Staying put on the over.

--------------------------------------------------

Also........adding the T-wolves at -8 over the Cavs. All hands are back on deck for the T-wolves.....see them pick'n the intensity back up and Brandon's shooting abilities helps spring KG loose to score at will.

Play'n----->T-wolves -8
