Just a couple of notes before the plicks.....
- Really lousy when you have to work on the entries way before scratch time, betem, and find out thems didn't run any races for that day. Last Tues. bummed me out when they pulled that crap and I really liked the card that day. Wasted plenty of time capping that card.
- HOPE I ain't in the "postem and lose or DON'T post them and win" syndrome. I'd really like to post some nice winnahs but that's been happening too often lately. Yesterday was one of them days so I'm gonna give posting today's picks a shot again. I HOPE the bastages run them today.
2nd race: Keys (my figure ratings) are nos. 7 and 10. The "post and lose jinx" is gonna have to work really hard to make a losah out that no. 10 hoss according to the ratings for this race. That one's margin over all the others is huge. This situation worked GREAT yesterday for the 7th race and I'm hoping it can make-it-happen two days in a row. If if wasn't for the far outside post (LOOKS like this horse has enough early speed to get decent position though) and an unknown, to me anyway, jockey - this one would warrant a heavy bet ($) today.
6th race: Top two rated horses should be nice odds in this race - nos. 6 and 9. My stronger preference is the no. 6. I'll be using each with zacta factas , 4,7,8. Oh, and of course a 2<-->6 (zacta box) is in order as well. Going with trifectas for this race as well; no. 6 will be on all them tickets someplace.
7th race: The no. 1, Blame the Jockey, is one my favorite dirt bags at this track but I dont' get the double class drop on this one. :mj03:
The time off after another fine race from this one also raises a red flag. Well, here's the top two rated horses for this race - nos. 1 (either one) or the 7 (value, too). Zacta players gotta use the 2x horse no matter how much they bet this one down from it's 9/2 morning line.
8th race: Top rated is the fav.
No. 8 looks to have it easy on the front end all the way around the track in this one. Nos. 2,3,5 may be part of the zacta. BTW, the no. 5 may go off at or higher than it's M.L. of 4/1. That would call for a "side order' of this one if it does.
