JUST A HEADS UP for now.

Took a break from the :00x7 for a few Philly days; just got a little tired of the "blah, blah, blah". LUCKY for whomever is reading my stuff cause, since posting my last thread - I only hit one mid-size exacta and a 10 dollar jobbie exacta earlier today that didn't even cover the cost of the tickets for that race. :(

BUT, the downside action got stopped in it's track in the 6th race today... FINALLY, the BIG LUNKER we've been looking for didn't slip off the hook before I could land it this time.

Oh yeeah, that baby hung on alright, 6th race zackta. Seems like there's always a dark cloud for everything I write and today was no exception - I had exatas AND trifectas written down on my pad for that race.. and just played the Zactas  You know the rest, right?

Hell, STILL can't complain about "only" nailing that exacta. My 30/1 shot hung on real good in the stretch and missed by a piece of a nose right at the dang wire in that race. UGH! I don't even want to know what that zacta woulda paid if that L.S. woulda hung on cause i did have it on top of the zacta as well, of course.

I didnt' post it, sorry... maybe I can make up for that by sharing the reasoning that went behind picking that longshot who I also had for Win/Place. -

LONE, EARLY SPEED on sloppy wace twacks - ESPECIALLY in two turn races and with big odds always gets included in zotic bets. Only exception would be if the horse's PPs looks absolutely/positively terrible and that wasn't the case for this race.

Mostly wrote this cause it looks like the regular players who visit this forum haven't been coming in lately and I just wanted to let them know that I'm READY to post now alright :) Gotta believe that tomorrow (a good old Philly weekday card) will have something worthwhile.

Hope to see ya tomorrow.

Philly today - MON.

Philly today - MON.

Ready, Set, .... ... ah, ..... GO! I got no. 1 to win.

After yesterday, feeling good about getting back to Philly today. There's a lot of question marks today on account of the weather and, OF COURSE, the dang scwacthes that are sure to happen at this track :(

I'll be out of town for the first part of tomorrow - and NO laptops or other addictive, electronic toys for me when I'm on the road (would you believe that I gots 20 yrs of computer tech. support experience and build/update home based computer systems on the side and there's no way I'll wear a leash (cellphone) or carry around an addictive electronic toy with me?). Heck, that goes for when I ain't on the road as well.

Ok, down to business; capped races for sloppy twack and off the turf....

Race 6: This race belongs to the no.1 hoss, Spin Zone. No. 7 could pose a problem. I'd hit the no. 1 kinda heavy at reasonable odds, but I feel pretty sho that they're gonna hammer that one. What to do?... Play the no 5 top/bot with nos. 1,7 that's what. Now that I think more about it - I like the zacta bets better than straight bets on no. 1 anyway.

7th race: Many scratch problems with this one and IF it goes on the turf, I'm probably in trouble. Here's the deal, FOR ME, that is... the payoff should be excellent if one of my longshots hit sooo ..... plenty of CHEAP tickets is what I'll be doing.
3,8 top/bot with the 1A, 2, 6, 9,10.. AND.. side on no. 7 to win. My normal exacta wager is TWO dollars, but that comes to $40 just for the exactas. Maybe for those who play with Monopoly money that's OK on a race like this one, but for REAL bets... it's ONE STINKIN dollar tickets on them zactas.

You know how many 2 dollar bets I can lose without a care in the world after that exacta I nailed yesterday? And I've hit plenty of those Phlly Bomber zotics in addition to yesterdays before that one. That's what I'm talkin about.

8th race: That there no. 5 hoss, Arrogant Officer (7/2 but prob. won't see that) is a bettor's friend alright. EXCELLENT closer that's in great shape and a very consistent runner. I'll be going for a some more VALUE in this affair -
no. 4 top/bot 3,5.

Hope to catch a mid-sized lunker today.

Good Luck, y'awl.

Thanks for stopping in, HM

Hogman, already had you figured in as "Peepin" in here along with the 350+ other peepers. YOU peep in here anytime you want cause I already know you're a real PLAYER, not a Robot.

Only collected scwatch money today and that return consisted of about 90% of what I bet for the whole day at Philly. Dull, rainy week days like this at Philly ain't fun at all. Musta lost the cost of a few bags of boiled peanuts... YUCK! This forum and Philly were Dullsville today :(

Hogman, Robots, wanna see where the action was today? Check out the "Off the Wall" room.. Tennis Dept.

Think I'm gonna head over there and play the song "Celebration" along with the good ole tornado of greenbacks for them over there. :00x9
Dwinks are on me at my place today, wish you could stop over. Looking out my window to see if one more person is coming over to make it an even 2. LOL
