Ain't this "At The Twack" forum fun? :grins:

H&H are MIA and even Skodaa flew the coop or maybe he's just went to buy a new mouse or something? Wonder what happened to Axle? Place used to run pretty nice when he was here.

Well, think I'll post some stuff anyways even though I really couldn't come up with something really solid for today....

2nd race: Maybe not much value here, but I'm going with no. 3 top/bot 1,2,5 exactas.

5th race: Using the nos. 1,2,3 in exactas, each with others. The only two of these that I'll have together would be a 1<->2 (boxed). It'll be great if it is the no. 2 that hits one of them which would cover the costs and plenty more. Hope I didn't make this too confusing. If so, a small play on no. 2 Win/Place looks like a good value play.

7th race: A little "Off The Wall" picks for this one. BTW, I'm doing really good with the French Open so far (tennis). I'm using the nos. 4 and 5 in this race and BOTH should be great odds. I gotta write that the picks are somewhat hunches. IF somebody insists on only 1 pick, let's say no. 5 cause it does have some substance (better reasons) to it.

8th race: no. 10, War Relic (6-1) is my OPINIONATED (how's that for 50 cent word?) pick. I don't figure my ratings out for turf races. This pick would go against one of my most important angle's, that is, throw out a horse with no early speed, an outside post, and ESP. on a tight-turns inner course. Still, you know how popoo happens to logical bettors sometimes and i hope this is one of those times. Horse is in form, even though it's last race doesn't look like it, has an excellent turf jockey, and a trainer that knows how to produce wieners (even if it ain't a legal way ... LOL). Relic has to look good in the paddock/post parade for me to go for this play though.

9th race: What a bunch of genuine Philly dirt BAGS in this one. Leaning on nos. 1 and 3.

Don't know when I'll be here IF I do get to stop in here at all today.
G.L.

Glad to see your post Jimbo!!! Just took a quick glance @ PARX today & came up with this:

Race #1
$20.00 Exacta 1/2,3
$10.00 Trifecta 1/2,3/2,3

Race #2-I like the #5-Ten Pen Tide who is coming off a long layoff but she has had some bullet works. Playing the 5/1,2,3 Exacta.

Race #5-Same #'s for me in this one as Race #2 leaning toward the #5-Fleeter w/John Bisono on board. Exacta 5/1,2,3 & Trifecta 5/1/2,3.

Race #7-Like the Long Moring Line Odds on your #4 & #5 horses.:yup Think the #6-Isnosmallwonder can get there. She has finished "In The $$$" in 5 of 6 starts this year. Think I will Exacta Box those three: 4,5,6.

Races #8 & #9- are too wide open so I will tail you & your selections.:0074

I know you are a "One Twaak Guy" but there are some big races with some outstanding equines running all across the country today. I will post some of my Best Bets in the Forum & any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Best Of Luck Jimbo!!!:0008

#5-Ten Pen Pride wins @ a nice price in Race #2. Wish #3 could have caught the #4 for place to make my Exacta.:0045 Would have been a nice pay out.

Plenty of L@@kers in this race, but the no. 5 AIN'T one of them :(

EDITED: Son Ah...( you know the rest)..... no. 5, longest shot in the race, gets nipped for 2nd to kill one of my exacta tickets. Paid $10.80 to show even though the first two were small odds.

Got a case of THIRDidish today.

Think Jim was referring to
Race 7
7th race: A little "Off The Wall" picks for this one.

Hammy, that there no. 1 in the last race proved to be the "KING of ihe Phillly DIRT BAGS". E-Z WIENER, but Philly fans bet that one down from 8 to 1 M.L. to 5/2 :(

BTW that no. 5 in the 7th, longest shot in the dang race at 24/1, JUST got nipped from completing that exacta, finished 3rd and paid $10.80 to Show!

Hammy, I coulda swore I already posted some picks for TODAY.... can't find it?

Here it is AGAIN...
>
GREAT, only 24 hits and a few are my own. That means chances are good that there isn't a Robot around that may be pounding my picks. LOL

Since that's the case, think I'll just hide picks for SUNday here...

Only a few playable races today and I ain't that confident about one of them (7th race).

3rd race: I'm gonna start the day off, looking for some "MAGIC". I'm sure most folks who read my stuff before know what they are.. but just in case there's some newbies around --> for trifectas thems are BOXES, 1-3-6 (great for all distances) and 1-2-4 (any distance OK, best for routes). Taking the 1,3,6 jobbie for this race.

AND I don't look for the magic nos.,they gotta come to me, but if two of them are in my top picks I'll usually play them. NEVA just play silly magic nos. cause you'll be on your way to the Po House if ya do.

7th race: Can't believe how much time I spent on the nags in this race; I am VERY familiar with all of them with only one exception, no. 1. I'll be on exactas, 2,5 top/bot 3,4. Been getting burnt lately with the winning exacta falling on the same side of the "equation" so..... adding a 2<->5 (box).

9th race: you playing hosses today? I think it might be a good idea to save some for no. 1, Quick Bid, in the 9th at Philly. Something like WIN,only or across the board maybe.

How bout that French Open?... luvin it!

Can't believe this?

wrap up ... and put a bow on it :)

wrap up ... and put a bow on it :)

I threw away 12 dollars with the box I just entered today :(
Those horses looked better in the paddock.

Was soooo pissed at that 9/5 drop and the no. 1 didn't show anything in the prerace. Guess what?... EARLY this morning, right after I posted here, I wheeled the no. 1 on top, only - 2 dollars :(
AND put $20 NOT so stinkin dollars W/Pl/SH on no. 1. That's a huge bet for me (I really liked that hoss - see how I posted that 9th race?).

Edited -> BTW, I just watched the replay and that no. 1, Quick Bid, hoss stumbled coming out of the gate, ran last for at least half of the backstretch, got bumped in early stretch run, was ALSO blocked at one point in home stretch run... and wins the dang wace. WOW!

Geeze that no. 1 was 9/5 early on and the Place hoss was 2-1.. how bout that exacta payoff.. $51.80. YIKES. Ya just gotta LUV this wacetwack!

Bottom line is "I whipped their asses today"
