Closing out the Phil. week with these -
4th race:Sooo tough to back a horse with the connections this one has - jockey got my vote for worst at this twack, trainer ain't far behind for those "honors" either and a low profile owner. But, I liked this one in it's last race and he looked/ran well so I'm sticking with no.4, Light De Night (5-1). Either win, only or with the 1,5,7 (top/bot, zacks).
5th: 3,5 top/bot w. 7,8.
7th: Well, this one needs the 1000 lb. gorilla to falter in this race and IF that happens it could be the BIG Kahuna we've been looking for. I got 4 contenders that I'm gonna check out for this race; 8,10,11,12. At least two of these could win at 15/1 or more. Think I'll take a good look at each in the paddock, cross out one of them and play the other 3 to WIN,only. A scratch is always a possibility at this track and that could filter one out for me. Some folks say that's "playing against yourself" but I don't see it that way in a race like this at this track. Other thought would be to put the Big GUN (no. 6) top bot with each in exactas and hope she just holds on for second. Note that the big favorite won 4 of it's last 5 races, only failed in the one where she had to run over a mile. Today's race is 1 mi, 70yds. Ha HAH! All the others in this race ain't chicken livers either. But, don't let me you take you off the big gun, she's some kinda front runner.
8th:All depends of where I stand at this point. If I'm well ahead, I'll just spring for some magic - Tri box, 1-3-6. If not, I'll go with no. 3 top/bot 1,6,8.
Hope one of the "PARX" (hate that rename) like maybe Double Two sees something here that he agrees with.
That's all I got for today. French Open? Just watch Rafa mo down each opponent he faces, one by one.
