They call this crapola a Sat. racing card,SHEESH!

It's gonna be hot racing at Philly today, but not on the racetrack. In fact, there may be NO racing today. Gonna hit mid. 90 degrees.

Come down to sunny Fla to cool off.

1st race: Adcisory (how's that for a 50 cent word)? THIS RACE IS NOT A PLAYABLE WACE. Sometimes ya gotta cheat a little to make a race playable. Also, they may run this race and then say,"It's too hot for the Philly dirt bags today and cancel the rest of the races". You know, then steer the suckers into the nice air conditioned casino.
I'm gonna try to get off to a good start with the no. 3 hoss in this race. Reasons are -> closed a bit in last, not much to beat amongst these dirt bags, excuses last two races, should go off much higher than M.L. Oh, BTW the jockey ain't poopies on this nag.

6th: Variety pack of wager types, take yer pick -> trifectas, box 1,3,6 cause I haven't seen much "magic" lately; ALSO 6/1,2,4/1,2,4. . Or ya can take exactas - 7 top/bot 3,4,6. I'll be playing both varieties.

8th: Simple as No. 5 top/bot 1,2. That's it.

GL today, I 'm going to heed your advisory statement "not a playable wace". Usually, MDN races are a pass for me.

Yeah, sometimes looking for a L@@KER in a maiden race pays off. I caught a few first timers that way, but betting well ahead of time is a :nono: for maidens. DON'T just try to find a L@@KER in every maiden race, they gotta come to you and the vast majority of the time, me/you'll be better off just avoiding them maidens.

Almost every week the races to play at Philly are on the weekdays too. Mon. and Tues.

Too bad you don't bet tennis, cleaned up this year with that sport. Just watched the ladies final.

Didn't see your reply earlier, DT. Sorry bout that 8th race, worst pick of the day. I think that horse finished last. Luckily also my smallest bet of the 3 races I posted. Lost the change that fell out of my pockets in that one.

1st race: Got off to a good start with the no. 3 who went off at 15/1. That one tried to steal the race and ran just fine but couldn't hold off the dang 1 to 5 favorite. Made the right move just going along with an across the board play with 2x on the Show spot, no exactas. The Place//Show paid well so that was a good thing

6th race: As usual, got almost all my (listed) bets back with the no. 6 scwatched. THIS TIME I SAW THE LIVE ODDS and took a real liking to the 3 and the 4 (posted hosses). Hammy, the no. 1, trained by Dutrow, was an extraordinary[/b L@@KER in the prerace so I put the no. 1 top/bot with the 3 and the 4. I also played for WIn, only.. the nos. 3 and 4. Bottom line was that I actually added to the measly profit so far. Zackta paid $29.20; with the no. 6 scratching - posted plays lost 8 stinkin dollars. BTW, the exacta result was 1-4.

8th race: Terrible pick, that no. 5 :s2: Race costed me FOUR STINKIN dollars. LOL

Really didn't expect much from a card like Saturday's. How could ANYbody beat them (not like for peanuts like I did, I mean -> BEAT THEM) on a day with results like Saturdays.. favorite after favorite, small exactas, shippers/a few first timere, mostly small fields. UGH.

Tennis? Geez, I wish at least one of this forum's members bet that sport. Absolutely cleaned up with this year in the BIG tennis event of the year, Wimbledon. Catching Lisicki to beat the BULL DOZER was the play that really made it happen. Bartoli's win added a nice layer of icing on the cake today.

Let's see if the nags treat me/us (don't let me take you off YOUR picks) better today - SUNDAY. I'll stat a new thread for it.
