Got really bummed out Tues; maybe overly so. Even though I caught a decent paying horse in an earlier race on Tues (that there "Strudel" hoss; paid something like $17 - $18), putting OVER a week's worth of bets on ONE stinkin horse in exotic and straight wagers and watching the bastage finish out of the money was most disappointing. ESP. since that one had no excuses at all for running such a dull race.

On to better things for this week, I HOPE..

2nd race: My highest rated hoss is no. 5, Katy's Kitty (9/2). Trying 5,6 t/b 3,7 in zactas as well.

6th race: Bestest bet of the day looks to be no. 6 (favorite) in this race. BUT, there ain't no BESTEST BETS for me for awhile. Besides, I am a little leery about the layoff this one is coming off. Tellya, the bettors will prob. bet down this favorite and, if so, no. 8 may be worth a look in this race at something like 3/1. I can also tellyas that the no. 6 IS a good one based on all the times I've seen her run.

7th race: Two are tied for top billing, nos. 1A (no. 1 is acceptable if the 1A gets sqwatched) and no. 6.
I like both of them as well. I think nos. 5 and 7 are zacta factas. Don't forget the "Magic" - 2,6 boxed.

DT, two "great" pickers (LOL) in here are attracting too many dang "Visitors". When the reVisitor views outrank the Repliers by something like 50 to 1, that's when I don't bother posting the exacta plays I make (or tries or exact bet amounts). And that's if I bother posting anything at all.

How bout we just open our thread, post our plicks, and write away all we want in it, DT? I always welcome ideas or comments, but not books or advertisements. I know I did just that in your thread last week without realizing it and that won't happen again. Unlike most of you MJers I don't care how many Viewers I have and prefer fewer of them.

OF COURSE, I'll usually post the "How I Did Report" though. AFTER THE WACES.

Today was more like it... 3 playables and 2 exactas, 6th and 7th.
Especially like it when the crystal ball is working for me, posted -> "Tellya, the bettors will prob. bet down this favorite and, if so, no. 8 may be worth a look in this race at something like 3/1".

2nd wace was a loosah; exacta plicks finished 1st and 3rd. :violin:

6th wace: Crystal Ball thingy.... 6,8 OVER 1A, 3, 5 ( went for zacta instead of trifectas :chairshot ) Well, comment for this race is "What thee EL? " ..... Now, BIG fav. runs out, 3/1 over 15/1 pays $57.40. Either others had a crystal ball too or maybe the short field, but IMO there was no icing at all on this Philly payoff.

7th wace: Play was 1A,6 top/bot 5,7. Scratches cut field a little short. Zacta paid $24.80.

That's it, Visitors. Ooops, one mo thang... How bout that Castallano/Plechter duo in the Fla. Darby today?
NO, I didn't even watch that race let alone play it. Just saw the result and I'll check out the replay later. I USED TO BE A REAL (and I mean, REAL ) hoss wacin fan). These days, losing moola would bother me nore than it did back then, get it? And... making moola makes me happier than it did back then. LOL

10-4 Jimbo. Just you, Hamster & myself post consistently in the Forum but that's OK w/me as long as we are winning. Appreciate your letting use your thread too post my selections today. Did alright @ old Philly Park but it could have been better. BTW-I saw where you like my recognition of the Castellano/Pletcher combo(#4-Constitution) in the Florida Derby this afternoon....A WINNER!!! I had $20.00 across the board, a $10.00 Exacta & a $5.00 Trifecta too net $520.00!!! A friend called me about 20 minutes before the Race a told me they scratched the #4 so I was scrambling too get another wager down when he called me back too say "Early April Fools" HA-HA. Was not funny @ the time but I'm fine with it now!!! :yup Have a great evening my friend & I will be ready for the "Dirt Bombs" in the morning.
