NOT confident with today's pick, but there are 3 playable races today, I spent the time going over them, and might as well post them cause it does look like the PEEPERs are hungry for some real action around here.

6th race: zactas 5,7 top/bot with 2,3. I got the first two (5,7) rated by themselves on top and the 2,3 can make the zacta lucrative (how's that for a 50 cent word?).

7th race: Here's the (cwazy?) deal for this race -> this track is mostly a colony of $7500 claimers and this race has 3 of the better sprinting ones - nos. 2,4,6. Now, ya gotta believe that ONE of those will hit the zacta and probably two of them. But you know how Murphy's Law goes ESP. with hoss wacin... soo.... the idea is to find one or two others whereby one of them may "upset the apple cart" and hit the zacta. The key is that it LOOKS easy to find them in this race ... the two absolute bestest jockey/trainer combos in here with GOOD odds to boot. The no. 3, Blues Heir, has Mooch/Juan Serey and the no. 5, Count the Tears (Hmmm, which happens to be exactly what I had to do after yesterday's ladies tennis final in Miami) has Flores/Glorioso.

Sooo.. the plays are....
ZACTAS - 3,5 top/bot with 2,4,6. Maybe even the $4 variety.

9th race: Don't know why I'm playing this race, BARELY playable. I came up with no. 8 top/bot with 5,6,7. AND you see who that no. 7 hoss is? My old friend, Habby Quatorze. I played this LOVELY dirt bomb two times since I cashed those $90+ Win tickets on her awhile back. Lost both times; small bets though.

She doesn't put two good races together in a row and I'm thinking she just may break that trend today. Don't expect a $90+ payoff, but she's always great odds.

Almost forgot.. I'm boxing 2-3-4, zacks, of course, in the 8th.

Hammy, NICE play, avoiding the tries and nailing that last race exacta last Tue$. LUVED that "bonus" Philly payoff in that exacta too. Sure glad that no. 4 nailed the favorite to make that exacta payoff cause I woulda been pissed at missing that trifecta since I didn't have that no. 5 in the show spot.

G.L.

6TH - just knew I shouldn't have left out that no. 1 in zacks; I've played and POSTED that no. 1 many times. BUT, ya can't playem all. Missed a Philly style "bonus" exacta payoff, DANG!
LOSAH

7th - Hmmm, "... nos. 2,4,6. Now, ya gotta believe that ONE of those will hit the zacta and probably two of them".

Well how bout all three hit a whopping $37 trifecta?
LOSAH

Now, for the rest.... .. DID I MISS-TYPE THE HABBY QUATOREZ HOSS/RACE? I did, I did, I did. Looks like it didn't make a difference to any MJer, but thanks to the "blah, blah, blah" about Habby Q. maybe a Peeper out there did notice that she was in the NINTH race NOT the 8th race. I DID :)
No. 2 was one of TWO horse's that I DIDN'T use with Habby in the zactas... SHEET!

BUT, a decent enough across the board play on her (5,5,15) pretty much saved the day due to her nice odds (But, NOT 45-1 this time :) )
BTW, IF anybody checks replays (Yeah, right) - check out how she took that first turn. She left Bucks County on that turn. Nice stretch run.
I believe she's an automatic THROW OUT in her next race.

Looking forward to a little WEEKday action.

Just some stuff

Just some stuff

Guess not. No biggie,

I just checked to see if this place has a PM feature since you are about the only one who checks out what I'm doing. Hell, easy to just PM ya ... don't have to be neat or entertaining like that. Looks like MJ's doesn't have that feature.

BUT, I did notice your birthday and DANG, mine is Feb. 16th. Now ain't that something?

Here's one forya... I can figure out the exact no., but NOT at this hour :)
It's something like only around 20. Say it is 20.

OK, now ... if you go into a room with 20 people in there, CHANCES ARE GOOD that TWO of them will have the same birthday. REALLY. Not the same year, of course.

Go to a party or bar with say 40 or more people and I'm sure you'll find somebody who'll take you up on that bet.

Better than playing the ponies, Hammy.

Well, that's the trivia for today.

Back to the horsies.
