Good enough Tuesday card but we could use some mo horses in non maiden races. You know, so we can git dat BIG CASH :)

2nd Wace
Looks like the nos. 2 and 3 are the contenders. Ya gotta always leave something out and, in this case, I'm thinking of taking a chance and hope the no. 1, with a very good jockey/trainer combo, doesn't upset the apple cart for me. I'm gonna put two potential longshots in the plays instead of the no.1 - nos. 7 and 8. No. 7 is actually my top figure hoss.

Soo... it's 2,3 top/bot 7,8 AND a side Win/Place on the 7 and the 8 adds value and insurance. MAYBE more on the longer price between the 7 and the 8, but that is pushing it a little.

A alternative, but riskier play, instead of the Win/Place bets would be a few more exactas - 1 top/bot 7,8 and would provide even more insurance (and risk too).

I feel pretty confident there's a winner in at least one of the suggested plays.

5th Wace

No. 8 gets very good figures in this contest. Problem is the jockey; I don't know why Aurwater sticks with this jock. Still ya gotta do the across the board with this one Win/Pl/Show @ 2x

No. 4, Tale of the Fox, 8-1, may just be the one I've been looking for. Not sure how to play the exactas with this one though. Got a strange feeling that tells me to go for the Gusto and putem with the no. 1 and the no. 8 with multiple tickets. That ain't really like me though. Of course it's safer to just wheel the bastage.

6th Wace

Was looking forward to try to figure this one out with the NINE nice, big, fat, Phily dirt bombs ($7.5 K clmrs.) entered. Spent way too much time with it and came up, pretty much, with nuthin or almost nuthin. No. 7, the favorite, should be the favorite. If I hadda play this one, I'd still be undecided between the 7, 5, and 9. No. 9 will have to look a bit exceptional in the prerace for me to take a shot. Poor jockey and breeding but,on the PLUS side-> GOOD workout for this race plus, on paper (didn't watch it), last race looks pretty impressive even though it was a maiden race. Fact is -> I DON'T havta play this race or any race for that matter.

7th Wace

ANOTHER race of interest; ain't these Tuesday's wonderful? It's getting to the point where I may just play on Tuesdays. Ain't kidding. Pretty sure I could handle that.
Ok, the race... IF you can toss the no. 4 out, this race looks WIDE open. My contribution for this race is - whether he wins this one or not, put Pisscatcio?/Pistashio?, Paco or what ever his first name is; LOPEZ on your poopoo list. Many jockeys have poor % wins and lose races cause they just don't get the good horses. P. Lopez loses with the good ones WAY TOO OFTEN. I can not bet the 7.

Soooo... how bout the no. 5 at 20-1? His last race was absolutely TERRIBLE and the no. 7 in this race beat him by over 10 lengths in that race. Tough to ignore a performance like that but I DO KNOW that he KNOWS his way aroud this Philly track and I just hope he ain't no "10" cause I just might hand the cashier the whole Saturday wade, rubber band an all, on this nag. I got some ideas about trifectas that I"M NOT gonna play, but just to writem someplace thems are 1-2-4, 1-2-5, and 1-4-5, boxes of course. I ain't recommending them either, just got an urge to kick myself in the ass when this race is over. LOL

Whew I've had enough.

Good Luck today and root for St. Louis to LOSE the W.S. willya? ... I got some nice parlays that will cash if they do. You just have to respect those BIG Ranger bats methinks. Thanks to the MJ racing fans that stopped in my college football thread; that Footsball Zo.... er, Forum is something else.

I'll fill in the blanks for you Jimbo.

"Wace 1" The Full Lavino
Wace 3: Belt on Ruthie
Wace 4: Sweepthemedals

Me I'm just a young pup here I guess, 30 yrs. young. That said, love talking ponies with you guys. Best part about 'em is that you can really limit your exposure as opposed to dropping a nickel on one of your ncaaf picks (DOH!)...but in all seriousness, great way to relax in LV at the sportsbook if you have time to kill or are looking to budget some green. I remember as a little HM seeing Strike the Gold take the Derby, and I used to watch it ever since...biggest ticket on one hossie was in the Belmont w Drosselmeyer last year...thanks to some great cappers on here.

How about root for St. Louis to lose because we all hate that fraud Tony LaRussa...never a more overrated coach out there...should have won 3 WS with that OakAs team, and probably 2-3 with these cards teams...remember the last time he won, all of a sudden they were comparin him to whitey herzog...bet the local st louis people weren't too happy...that for should.

True Story

True Story

I think it may have been down here - like 3 A.M. and the cops see a car in the middle of the road still waiting for the light to turn green. Turns green, turns red, turns green and that car RUNNING is still sitting there in the middle of the road. They pull up to it and the driver is shit faced drunk and sleeping at the wheel. He was LaRussa.

I guess it was in my old forum, I'd direct you to the link but that might be a :nono:, directing to another forum. I picked Drossellmeyer too. He was consistant, a beaten favorite, had a good jockey (can't remember who right now, maybe Delahousey?). Paid pretty dang good too. Good closer. I'll never forget picking Sirava though, biggest Belmont winner ever I think. I think that was MY biggest winnah (win price) ever too. That horse should have NEVER gone off at the crazy odds he went off at. His pp lines were better than half of the field, no last place/20 length losses like most 50 or 60(?) to 1 shots. Only reason I think they didn't bet that horse is that his breeding wasn't right for the distance and he never ran in Grade 1 races (pretty sure about the last part). he ran in lesser class of races. That horse was ready to compete with the big guns and the big guns weren't that great in that race either. You can just imagine how I felt watching him coming out of the last turn like a freight train, I knew he was gonna win it that that point. Good trainer too.. Kenny McPeek, I do remember that and McPeek had the Derby favortite that year and he ran out of the moola. I figure McPeek to make a comback in the Belmont especially with a sleeper. It was like a gift. NICE gift. :)

I've done good with Triple Crown races, my achillies heel is those freakin races between CLONES ... the Breeders Cup. I think I didn't play one of those damn B.C. races last year. Ugh!

Did plenty of typing in this place earlier; gonna get blisters on my finger tips.

Between the two of us, HM.. let's SWEEP EM today at good ole Philly (I've been to that track quite a few times, my sis. lives in Philly. I think that's Bucks County around there. Beautiful area surrounding Philadelphia ...er, NOT in the winter though.. I grew up and then some in the Northeast before coming down to sunny FLA to visit my mother down here about 15 yrs. ago. Wound up staying.

Oh yeah, I scrapped the ice off the windshield before going to work at 7 a.m. on many winter mornings, slid around on the ice a few times BEHIND THE WHEEL IN A CAR on I95 no less, coming home from Rutgers at midnight, changed the leaf spring in my classic 57 Chevy while laying on the ICE on a Jersey Ciity street, etc. etc. Brrrr). I'd be dead meat (frozen) if I put in a winter ESP. a place like Mass. now that I'm acclimated to FLA.

G.L., HM, Hammy.

Just some comments

Just some comments

I played that CAT with $4 tickets on top of ALL and $2 tickets on the bottom. Also no. 8 across, W/P/Show@2x.

That damn 4/5 shot hadda finish 2nd. SOB
Ya gotta just LUUUV this twack though, $70 zacta. WOW.

That no. 5 in the 7th costed me a bit though. Well, $20 (5,5,10). Didn't look too good in the race, based on my analytical pace skills .... .. . that would be the DULL PROFILE for my students :00x12 .
Ya know, the profile we studied in the Calculus fo Hosses class -> started slow, decent mid wace, finished mediocre. Very close to the "Out of Form" profile". :(

Deliman, I don't see your OTB results?? NOW, don't tell me you didn't get some of that CAT hoss :nono:
OR ... even worser... ya put it all on the no. 5 in the 7th :scared:

Let's do it again next Tues, HogMan... just like today. One stinker AT MOST and one BOMBER at MIINIMUM. :00x15

OK, three days rest from being a gamblin man and then a little .....
