Where did all them hosses go? That is, what's up with all these 7 horse fields today; and that's BEFORE sqwatches too.

Don't know who'll be around today, so I'll start with the first two playables for today....

2nd race: Exactas and tries for this one. Briefly, the no. 3 (8/1) or 7 (4/1) will be on top of them.

6th race: I'll be going overboard on the no. 3 hoss in this one, Sara's Angel (9/2).

IF there's any followers on my Philly plicks, you should know this...

When I used to play the N.Y. tracks (Big A and Belmont that is, NOT Saratoga) I bet similar to the way I bet now... small-bets-wise. That means 2 dollar zacks, 1 stinkin dollar tries, and quite a big more on straight bets. BUT, when I saw something I REALLY liked the bet size went up by A LOT. That worked for me at Aqueduct alright, did it ever, not so much at Belmont.

These days, those BIG bets are killers for me for whatever reason. I LUVED that no.3 today in the 6th today and made the biggest "investment" on that one of any bets I made this year so far. That would be to the tune of about $80 - $100 worth of torn up tickets.

I keep records and they tell me that I really need to forget about "Best Bets", for whatever reason they don't work for me any mo. What does work for me is 2 stinkin dollars on 45 to 1 shots (caught THREE of those awhile back at Philly) and NOT 45 dollar bets on 2 to 1 shots. Get it? And I only played one 45+ to 1 shot since hitting the last one that I nailed. That last one I played did run like a 45 to 1 unfortunately.

Oh well.. on to the 7th .

No 6 is my key and it's ONE and it's back to two dollar deals for me for awhile.

Well, since the favored no. 10 was the top rated horse when there were 12 starters, this one certainly must be the pick vs. 4. I'm thinkig - put enough on no. 10 to WIN to get half of the debits back for today .. AND, enough of a side bet on 7<-> 10 exactas to get it ALL back.

The most UNluckiest of Tuesdays I can recall, today.

Maybe I can find a Bawler for tonite; Cal came through for me last night. Pretty soon we'll be in the Dog Days of Summer... strictly Philly dirt bombs and that's it for me.... basebawl, NBA, etc. ... NO THANKS!

Tennis? .... oh YEAH! Haven't seen my +940 shot, Lisicki lately. and she ain't no dirt bomb either.

Thanks Jimbo & Hamster!!! Made a little $$$ today but it could have been better. Won a couple of "Cheap" tickets in the 4th & hit both the Exacta & Trifecta in the 7th. The 3rd Race made my day!!! :yup
