Let's see what's goin on in HOT Philly today...

4th race
The conditions say this race is playable, but then say :nono: after ya go over the entries real careful like. Too tough to call with any conviction. BUT, I guess for OTBers or at-the-tracksters I should post something. Who the hell wants to sit around all day waiting for a betable race. Even I don't if I'm actually at the track, soooo .... If ya GOTTA play something - my play would be zacta BOX 2-3 and side win plays on both 4,6. Ya can't lose much and can win a decent amount.

5th race
Zacktas: 4,6 top/bot with 3,8
IMPOTENT - The no. 6 could get bet down in this race. IF no.6 is 3/5 or less, NO PLAY at all in this race.

6th race
Let's try a Tri: 1-3-6 (of course) BOXED.
Also, no. 7 Win/Pl
No. 1 @12-1 M.L. looks like value in here.

7th race
Zacta box: 1-4-5; also no. 8 top/bot with 1,4.
Only looking for ONE stinkin hoss? That would be the no. 1.

That looks like about it. Initially, I like the no. 7 in the 9th. Liked this one the last time he ran, with the same terrible jockey and he came flying down the stretch at 14-1 to just miss winning it. It all depends on how much HIGHER than his morning line (9-2) he goes off at.

oh, one mo thing...

Nice to get a few REPLIES in my last thread even if they are from the MJers that also take the time to post their picks AFTER going through the work of handicapping for the VIEWers. But it would be nice to see one of them 100+ visitors (YIKES) stop in. 3 replies from POSTERS (9 are mine) and 100+ Views, Sheesh.
C'mon viewers, ya gotta do better than that. Hey, stop in to throw a rotten tomatoe at me if ya tailed the no. 10 yesterday OR stop in to acknowledge the pick if ya nailed that no. 8 hoss (or the zacta pick.. Yum Yummy). Based on what I know about my record - there's plenty more BIG, FAT, Juicey zacktas down the road AND wait until an "ABSOLUTELY READY to ROLL" hoss shows up some day in the prerace paddock/post parade (thems won better than 1 out of 4 times AND the average win payoff is (and this IS THE TRUTH) over $40. Sure would hate to see yas miss out on those things cause this nice "HOSS WACIN, ONLY" forum Mr. Jack provides us with could dry up without your input to keep us interested. Join in if you're not a member, it's free, no need to tail, just tell us cappers how we're doin if any of us are still around. Suggestions are always welcome in this corner and I'm sure that goes for the other posters too.

Good Luck today

When are these Wace Twacks gonna learn something from the online books??
I'm thinking - PROPS!
Ya know, something like -? "Your EXACTA hosses finish 1st and 3rd" ... yea or nay?

I'm still feeling good about beating this track, but can't beat Lady Luck, dats fosho. And thats probably the BIGGEST factor to overcome for us RTJs (er... Race Track Jacks).

4th - 2-8-3
PLAYABLE race, and I didn't put in the good ole Philly bomber (35-1) with my no. 2 hoss. (Yeah, I did decide to play this race exactly the way I posted it). Zacta paid $85 and that's with that there 1-1 shot on top. SNMB (<-- that means "Son-A-Ma-BEACH" from now on)

5th - 6-3 Zacta paid $23.60 even with that 1 to 5 favorite on top.
Did I play this wace?? OF COURSE NOT, this time I did follow my "impotent" instructions -->"IMPOTENT - The no. 6 could get bet down in this race. IF no.6 is 3/5 or less, NO PLAY at all in this race.". (oh yeah, this was impotent alright... POTENT poison, SNMB .

6th - 2-6 paid $28.40
Now that's mo like it... suffer the penalty of losing cause the picks sucked. Ut, wait a minute.... er, what were them zacta nos. again??? Grrrr!

7th - 4-2-5
Nailed that 1st and 3rd (hmmm, college footballers are coming up soon) monster again. No biggie cause I did like the no. 1 best in that race.

9th race
At least that 3x for show part on no. 7 made this race profitable, but those mini bucks of profit fell VERY short of breaking even for the day. Staying away from dedicated closers at this track is the thing to do, but they don't all lose and this horse is a good enough for me to take a shot with.

Some folks around here say that these kinda things happen all the time to us RTJs. NOT to this one. If I continue to have to dook it out with Lady Luck, I'll look for a spot to lie down and then head for the exit sign. NOT CHECKING OUT yet though... but, there are some young studs, full of peepee and vinegar heading this way soon (thems called college footsballers) and, as much as I hate to, I'll have to trade in my hosses for them if this stuff keeps happening. I've played hosses for MANY years and sometimes would stop for over a year with NO PAIN at all. AND, during baseball (ya know, throwing darts for profit) I just didn't bet a thing on ANYthing... no problem. But fosho, I will return to hoss wacin at some point, whenever that is even if it's years later.

Looking to git me some of those BIG Philly Prime rib subs (LOL) before their(Philly)/mine vacation from hosses starts in August.
