Rockies will skip Hammel start, Chacin set for Thursday
Jason Hammel will have to wait to push Ctrl-Alt-Delete on his season. The right-hander was set to be activated, but no move was necessary because the second game was rained out. So that means Eric Young Jr. will remain on the roster for now, and possibly into the future depending how serious Melvin Mora?s leg injury is.
Jhoulys Chacin will start tomorrow against the Nationals. Junking a sinker and relying on a four-seam fastball has made him more effective. He will be looking for his third-straight win.
