As a huge Philadelphia sports fan, I am about to ask to be put out of my misery ... the Flyers sucked!!! ... the Sixers sorta sucked! ... and now the Phillies look like they might be worst than the Nationals and with the talent they have compared to the Nats, I just can't fathom why they are playing so poorly so far.
There is no way they should be this bad especially since so far Burrell, Rowand and Ruiz have actually hit the ball decent.
Rollins other than his surprising HR's has not been very good. Utley and Howard can't drive anyone in, Helms is not hitting and cannot play defense. Nunez can play defense a little but hits like a girl, Victorino is an okay player but nothing special, Michael Bourne couldn't hit his way out of a paper bag and belongs in the minors at this point, Barajas is a total waste of money and a roster spot as I would much rather have Coste in the big leagues as a solid back up and good pinch hitter and Jayson Werth is worthless as he can't hit or play defense ... and that's just the offense! I can't even stomach writing about the pitching staff so far although I do not have a problem at this point with Uncle Charlie putting Myers in the pen; however, I would prefer to see him closing (ala Papelbon) and use Flash Gordon as the setup man.
