Phoenix 2h...

Not sure what the line will be but I'm taking Phoenix in the 2h. SA has the looks of a team that thought they could just show up and win tonight due to the two suspensions for Phoenix. They aren't even coming close to matching the intensity of the Suns. If this game was being played in SA I think they would make a game of it but since they're on the road I'm guessing Phoenix pulls away with this one. Just a hunch.

Good luck all...

I think +5.5 is a gift. They only have to win by 6 to cover. I actually think they will win by double digits.

Good luck y'all!

Hey Glenn, gl on your play. I'm on the Suns pretty big for the 2H, I got it at 6 and think it's a gift too.

Let's cash this :00hour

Thanks Moeshy. My big play is on Phoenix ML for the game so I'm pretty happy with the start. Now they just need to hang on. GL to us on the 2h! :SIB

if you have the suns for the game, no way you should be hammering the suns in the 2h

as for "only win by 6"...wouldnt be surprised to see the spurs have a lead at some point in the 3q or early 4th....dont see the suns totally running away with this one as i see the spurs coming out with more intensity in the 2h and eventually see the suns wearing down and it coming down to the last minute.

Whoa, whoa... didn't hammer the 2h play at all. In fact, it's 1/4 the size of the ML play.

I think there are two ways the 2h can shake out... the Spurs come out with intensity, regroup, get their shit together and make a run and make a game of it, OR, they hang around for a while like they did in the first half, only to have Phoenix pull away in the fourth. Like I said, if this was a home game for SA I would bet on the first scenario. It seems like it's a lot easier for teams to pick up the intensity when they're at home and they have the home crowd behind them. Because they're on the road I think they will have a much tougher go of it. Not to mention the fact that they will have to expend a ton of energy just to try to get back in the game.

ok, good luck

it's the nba....teams can coast for 3 quarters be behind by 5-20 points the whole game, pick up the intensity and win the game.....took the spurs 3 mins to get the lead down to 4......think this game stays close the rest of the way and is decided in the last minute

Yeah, that wasn't the start I was looking for. However, I didn't think Phoenix was going to blow it wide open from the opening tip. I expected SA to hang around but I think Phoenix will pull away in the end. At least I HOPE that's what they do...

Nice call gjn. Phoenix obviously isn't pulling away with anything. Hopefully they can hold on to win. God bless Manu! :mj07:

well it was obvious in the 1h that phx was struggling to score and that has continued the whole game.....they havent pushed the ball like i thought and have bogged down in a half court game with no inside post game at all

True enough. SA looked even worse in the 1h though. Have to give the Spurs credit for doing a complete 180 in a hostile environment.

well the teams are basically even, when at full strength, phx missing 30 points a game while sa was missing 4 points per game......was bound to even out and without phx playing up tempo and hitting a ton of threes it played right into the spurs hands

Yeah, it was only a matter of time until they started hitting their shots. Congrats to the Spurs. Helluva game.

Well that sucked. I conceded the 2h bet a while ago but shouldn't have lost the ML bet. Phoenix allows SA to go on a 17-6 run to close out the game. Inexcusable considering Phoenix was the home team. Oh well, that's the NBA for ya...

true.... and the playoffs make it that much harder to handicap... anything can happen and in most cases either team can win one.

well, the suns did the same thing in game 5

phx offense was bad the whole game but expecially terrible the last minute not sure why they were taking norrible threes when they were down 3 with 30 secs left then down three with 12secs left

Completely agree. I rarely bet on the NBA because it's too unpredictable in my opinion. Or maybe I just suck at it. :mj07: Congrats on your Spurs win.

Yep, that was giving me an ulcer. Rather than set up a play or two why not just jack the ball up from 25 feet? :mj07: Can't say I'm surprised by it though...
