Photoshop question

How do you take a color image and make parts of it black & white?

use selection tool to select what you want to be black/white

once selection is made select

image

adjustments

hue/saturation


then slide saturation bar all the way to the left

What if I wanted to select both her eyes and her navel. How do I select each of those individually?

select an eye with selection tool

then hold down shift when you make your other selections

as long as you hold down shift.. you can make as many selections as you want...

when you use hue/saturation tool all selections will be effected
