It seems everytime an announcement like this that sways the game line substantially in one direction (Cubbies here) and the public races to bet in that direction, the other side wins (Mets). Now I am not suggesting a play on the Mets (Matter of fact I figure this series as one where Cubs WILL NOT get swept by Mets, therefore progressive betting could work here) and I have only just started to notice this (this season - exclude Seatle). Just figured it is something worth noting and watching/ (watching out) for.
All that being said, including my earlier post of no plays today, I've decided since I am a true degenerate I will go with the forums concensus play of the Cubs. 2* -22.
Mets can't sweep Cubbies. Cubbies can't lose 8, I mean 4 in a row and at home...
