Just a regular bet for me, not huge. I figure this will be like early game, just knockdown drag-out. Villa has impressed with their ironlike hardassness. NC is certainly capable of same. I think this will be a tad more deliberate in pace. It might have some speed spots, but a few minutes of slower play is all that is needed to get the under. I don't see any scorefest, main chance of losing is thru late fouls.

true, but the total is set that high for a reason. both these teams can put up massive points.

True. Can never feel too confident taking under in NC game. But...circumstances make outcomes. High-pressure games like this, often there's some clenching. Also, the fact that the earlier game went over I believe makes it a tad likelier this goes under. Logically they are indepent events, but in practice they are not.

Yep, looks like a loser at half, but still a small chance. I expected NC to prevent Villa from scoring as many points as it did.

you mean since they were on pace for a 100 in the first half with 5 mins left, didnt even get to 90 and now cant make ft or layups?

i'm on nova and the over and i smelt exactly what's gonna happen at half time.....both losers as nova goes cold will fall behind by 15+ and not even get into the fouls at the end of the game.

under 12 min timeout and it's going just as i thought

The 2h was what I expected at the start - Villa only had about 11 points at the 8m mark of 2h.

Did you notice how reluctant the refs were to call defensive fouls against NC? Do you know why that is? Hint: think politics.

I would be EXTREMELY reluctant to bet against NC in the final. BUT, I would not be suprised to see the outcome that would screw the maximum number of people, and that will probably be NC winning but not covering. That's the way to bet more often than not in national-focus games, the Super Bowl this year being the perfect example.

Anyway, congrats to under bettors, and tough loss for you overs. It really would have been smarter to wait til halftime on this one, I love doing that on high-70s 1h games. So many things have to go right to cover a number in the mid-80s it's not even funny.
