Game: Boston at Miami
Tip-off: 7:35 pm ET
Line: Miami - 3.5
Total: 179

Angles/Analysis:

With their playoff hopes starting to fade, the Miami Heat look to snap their first losing streak in over two months when they host the Boston Celtics Monday night. The Heat have lost consecutive games for the first time since a three-game losing streak from January 8-12.
Miami is 23-11 since that losing streak, but has lost three of its last four games and is 3 1/2 games from the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. On Saturday, the Heat suffered a 89-79 loss at San Antonio.
Miami has 14 games left, but 10 of them are against teams with winning records. The Heat are 14-24 against teams that are over .500.
Boston has lost four of five games since a season-high seven-game winning streak from March 4-15.
On Sunday, the Celtics suffered a 109-101 loss in Detroit. The Celtics Paul Pierce scored 35 points and Antoine Walker recorded his 28th double-double of the season with 28 points and 11 rebounds. But the Celtics lost starting point guard Kenny Anderson when he sprained his left ankle in the third quarter and is listed as day-to-day.
Boston beat the Heat back on November 27, Pierce made a driving layup as time expired in a 84-83 win here. The away team in this matchup has won the last four meetings against the spread.

Favorable Trends:

Boston:
19-10-1 ATS after a SU loss.

Miami:
3-7 ATS in their last 10 overall.
11-18 ATS on one days rest.

Pick2Play: Boston + 3.5 (3 units)

At first glance and after reading this thread, Boston is the right way.... But with Anderson (who is doing extremely well as of late), I am going to stick with MIA. I believe they will still try to fight for a playoff spot and not yet dead in their hopes.
