The injury-depleted Sacramento Kings take on the Los Angeles Lakers tonight at the Staples Center. The Kings will be without Chris Webber who is nursing a sprained right thumb and will not play tonight. Bobby Jackson and Hedo Turkoglu will also miss Wednesday?s contest.
The Lakers have won and covered in five of the last six meetings with Sacramento, including twice in three meetings this season. Out of those 5 games though, the Lakers not won by more than 8 pts and their last meeting on Mar. 24, the Lakers pulled out a 97-96 victory as a one-point underdog at Arco Arena. The Kings leading scorer, Predrag Stojakovic, was out with a hamstring pull in that ball game but is expected to play tonight.
On Monday, our free pick Seatle + 9, used a 14-3 run towards the end of the game to get us the back door cover. Don?t get me wrong, the Kings will most likely lose this game SU, but we feel that they have enough talent playing tonight to keep this one closer than 12.
