Picks2Play for Saturday 3/16.......
Game: Phoenix at Charlotte
Tip-off: 7:55 pm ET
Line: Charlotte - 8.5
Total: 180
Angles/Analyses:
The Phoenix Suns hope to snap a six-game road losing streak when they conclude a four-game trip against the Charlotte on Saturday. Phoenix, which has dropped four in a row overall, has not won on the road since a 78-72 triumph at Memphis on February 21.
The Suns, who are in 10th place in the Western Conference, have dropped to 5 1/2 games behind eighth-place Utah for the final playoff spot. Charlotte has won two of its last three games, including an 88-82 win at Phoenix last Sunday. In our opinion, this is an inflated line because of Charlotte blew out Utah, 100-82, and Phoenix?s current slide. The Suns will look to even up the series and avenge last?s Sunday?s loss. They should at least keep this one close.
Favorable Trends:
Charlotte:
11-20 ATS at home this season
Phoenix:
27-13 ATS after having lost 5 or 6 of their last 7 games since 1996.
16-4 ATS after having lost 6 or 7 of their last 8 games since 1996.
1-11 ATS on Saturday games this season.
Pick2Play: Phoenix + 8.5 (5 units)

Game: Detroit at Milwaukee
Tip-off: 8:30 pm ET
Line: Milwaukee ? 5.5
Total: 188
Angles/Analyses:
First place in the Central Division is on the line when the Milwaukee Bucks host the Detroit Pistons Saturday at the Bradley Center. Detroit and Milwaukee are tied for the division lead, four games behind the New Jersey Nets for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. The Bucks have won the teams' two prior meetings this season, 97-79, at The Palace on January 21 and 89-82 here on February 24.
Milwaukee has won three straight over Detroit since a 120-113 loss on December 30, 2000. The Pistons have not beaten the Bucks at the Bradley Center since December 11, 1999.
The Bucks had dropped three of their last four games before crushing Chicago on Tuesday, 110-81, to improve to 2-2 on their five-game homestand.
Favorable Trends:
Detroit:
19-11-1 ATS on the road this season.
15-11 ATS on no days rest
Milwaukee:
13-20 ATS at home this season.
2-4 ATS on 3 days rest
Pick2Play: Detroit + 5.5 (3 units)

Game: Seatle at L.A Clippers
Tip-off: 10:30 pm ET
Line: Clippers - 5.5
Total: 188
Angles/Analyses:
The Seatle Supersonics will be without their second-leading scorer on Saturday when they visit the Los Angeles Clippers in a game with playoff implication. Forward Rashad Lewis, who averages 16.7 points and 6.9 rebounds, was injured in Friday's 103-98 setback to Washington. He suffered a strained left shoulder with 2:45 left in the first half when he collided with teammate Jerome James. Lewis will undergo an MRI Saturday in Seattle. Brent Barry matched a career high with 31 points and Gary Payton added 29 on Friday for the SuperSonics, who have lost three consecutive games for the first time since January 29-February 2. Seattle is just one-half game in front of eighth-place Utah in the Western Conference.
The Clippers fell 1 1/2 games out of a playoff berth with Friday's 98-92 loss to their intracity rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers last night. That was a tough game that probably took a lot out of them both physically and emotionally. Although the Clippers have enjoyed success at home but we think Seatle will snap out of the losing streak tonight.
Favorable Trends:
Seatle:
21-13 ATS on the road this season.
4-1 ATS in the last five meetings.
9-1 ATS after failing to cover 3 of their last 4 against the spread this season.
24-9 ATS after playing a game as favorite this season.
5-1 ATS in a road game where the total is between 180 and 189.5 points this season.
Clippers:
13-20 ATS at home this season.
2-4 ATS on 3 days rest
1-5 ATS after successfully covering the spread in 3 or more consecutive games this season
Pick2Play: Seatle + 5.5 (4 units)
