Sorry to ruin the party for all you Falcon-backers, but I'm playing Atlanta tonight +10.5 Given my NFL sides record, that's like the kiss of death.

My primary reason for this play is the fact the Rams will be facing a 3-4 defense (very rare for Rams to face the 3-4). This defense is better suited to stop passing offenses and prevent the big plays which characterize the Rams offense. This is also an absolutely critical game for the Falcons wo must win tonight to have any realistic chance at post-season. Atlantas offense also gets a repreive after facing two brutal defenses the prevvious two games -- CAROLINA and TAMPA. The Rams defense by comparison is going to be an easier task. I expect the Falcons to move the ball and keep up with the Rams most of the night. Rams will likely win, but Atlanta shoud keep this final score within single digits.

Two plays:

ATLANTA +10.5
2Q: ATLANTA +3.5

glad to see you on my side Mr. Dalla and as usual you have
done your homework. Rams will have some slight problems.

Good Luck

Thanks for all your time, effort & input........

Do you think Atlanta can score 18 points tonight?
Carib has a prop... Atl scoring over 17.5 points for the game -145
I'm considering it.... What do you think...

One thing I have learned from my losses is the importance of the offensive line. If the line blocks and opens up holes, it doesn't matter who is the quarterback or running back. The better offensive line usually wins the game. Atlanta's offensive line is nothing to brag about, but neither is the Rams. St. Louis has problems with consistency on the line and if Falcons can get to the QB, they will cover in this game and could possibly pull an upset.

I have no opinion on the total. I noticed it has moved up from 45 to 46.5 and Vegas still is betting the OVER (all the touts are on the OVER).

The one thing I look for is value. I love the hook on the 10 -- getting 105. is some spots and down to 10 at others. I had this game earlier at +11, and added another unit to it today.

Regarding Falcons total listed at 17.5, I think the OVER is a reasonable play. Falcons don't have much of a running game and they will have to throw to win this game. Even a non-cover loss probably means the Falcons will reach 20+ Would anyone be surpirsed to see a 31-20 final score?

You bet on the Falcons OVER 17.5 looks very strong in my opinion. I don't bet many props, but it looks like you are on the right side.
