I was hoping your Buccoss... hit homerun when they behind 3-1 and pirate 1st base... if they hit homerun to tie the game.... more fun for me...... to watch this game....
oh.. Addict.. I used to live on Penn St. 13 minutes driving from the stadium almost 2 years.. so I was root for them to win but I had no gut to put the money on this game that's a reason why I rather take Over 6.5

He had to pinch hit for him in the 6th, they needed runs. Would it have really mattered after it was 2-0 if Cy Young was pitching for us? No. They had no bats whatsoever. While a great year for the Pirates that was an embarrassing end with them flailing at first pitches in the dirt only to pop them up time after time. Zero responsibility at the plate from any of our hitters.
If this was not such a celebration of a great season (by comparison) then Hurdle's feet would be held to the fire for the decisions he made. No way you go into a deciding game against a pitcher like that and run two guys up in the 1 and 2 spot who have a combined one hit in the last four games. You have to make an adjustment. Hurdle chose to try and catch lightning in a bottle and failed.
