I wish more people could watch the pirates now that its a topic.....hurdle is awesome....went to 21 games last year....24 year prior but only 10 this year....but Ive had honor of talking to hurdle twice.. knowledge is unreal.. he gets most out of players. Been parts of many good teams and one that went to WS ... played on good teams as welll

Burnettlookin like return and him and morton are both very capable.....locke sucks but only week spot on staff/pen
Worley/ Blanton/scahill all good for long relievers
Hughes/caminero two of the best middle relieverz out there potential wise....100 and 101 mph....thats movin...
Then get to the 7th.....

Marte/cutch i think is best left/center all around combo....polanco very capable
Kang/aram/mercer/jay harrison/pedro/morse/rodriguez/neil walker.....not enough room for aramis....not many teams could say that
And prolly the most undervalued catcher in baseball.....mr. cervelli.....300 average on offense and calls a tremendous game....
If ya get a chance to watch you will enjoy it.....alll that talent with i think thhe top manager......deadly combo....

Let's not spew facts here. It was already noted they suck . Obviously no evidence was needed to back it up with it being such a strong claim Maybe next year they can be 27 games over .500 instead if a measly 23/24

I was picking up your sarcasm from the beginning.
They just swept the Mets. The 1st place team in the East. Teams have let downs.
Hellicksons ERA was over 8 I believe on the road and Cole is one of the best in baseball. Looked like a no brainer and the players may of felt the same plus they're just getting back from a road trip and back to their own beds. Probably didn't have the same intensity as usual. They still had plenty of chances but couldn't capitalize. It happens. They should bounce back tomorrow. They're obviously a good team.
What sucks is that STL refuses to lose. Can't believe they have 69 wins (22 over .500) and they're still 6 back. It's unreal. I still have a feeling STL is going to regress a bit (they almost have to with all the close wins they have this year and their bs offense) and maybe the Pirates don't catch them but if they get past the play in game they'll play STL and I think we beat them. I just think their luck runs out eventually. I'm not getting a championship tattoo or anything but this may be the year!
