34 is low.....Both Def can score....or a sp tms play can ruin the play..
Pitt+9 maybe buy a pt to +10 -145:shrug:

Logical play is UNDER.....Both gonna bring the D! Rookie QB making 1st start on road not sure how many points will be produced there. If the TO's are limited with both teams starting in own territory a lot UNDER will be solid! I do see a lot of punting and field position strategy by the coaching...

That is a lot of points though for the Super Bowl champs...even without Ben they could keep this within 9 pts. They'll be playing with the "us against the world" mentality tonight with no Big Ben. Very tempting.....

:iagree: :toast:

I played Pitt+ 10 -145.....Lots of vig but it present too much value with a solid Def and what looks to be a heavy dose of Mendenhall.... I'll take my chance's...

If Ravens can't get this Pitt team tonite then they might as well close shop.

The starting QB "\:

With backup Charlie Batch(notes) also injured, Dennis Dixon(notes) would make his first NFL start. Dixon, selected in the fifth round of the 2008 draft, has thrown one pass in his career.

The notorious Raven "D" in front of their home crowd better dominate this kid from 1st snap to the last..

They should get at least 3 extra possessions on "O" which means Flacco has every chance in the world to pound on a "D" that should get little rest.

"But Pitt will run to off set inexperience at QB"

Yea that has worked out real well .

17th in the NFL in rushing and 6 rushing TD's thru 10 games.

The Steelers are a throw the football team..there is no if and or buts..there is no 3 yards and a cloud of dust..there is no grind you down and punish you offense..

if this kid can't throw ...:00x4

hope this helps..:SIB

I think Dixon is very mobile and has a big arm.
In college this kid was a stud running the spread option...In space this kid can run...IMO Dixon can put up similar #'s as Big Ben and keep this a FG fest

That's what everyone is reading, so BAL is easy $$. Never that easy....especially in the NFL. Not saying Pitt is the play yet, but don't put your house on BAL based on the rookie QB going.
