Bill Cower :argue: made a big deal about his teams lack of rest between Wild Card Weekend and the Divisional Playoffs. Unlike the JETS who played on Saturday last week to play on Sunday this week (a full 7 days), Pitt played last Sunday and now has to play on Saturday (5 days). Add into the equation travel, an emotional long game vs. Cleveland, and injuries the Steelers should limp into Tennessee and get man-handled.

kbyoda,

I agree....

The Steelers have more weapons on offense...and has a good chance to win outright.... Keep in mind... Chad Scott is coming back this week which should give the secondary a huge lift... The Titans secondary is actually rated worse than the Steelers in regards to giving up yardage... ... Maddox, Ward, Burress will have a field day.... Playing so many games in such a short time will actually keep the offense in a rhythm....

Tenn has one big threat receiver and the other WRS are mediocre at best... Not to mention, Mcnair may be rusty....... The speed at linebacker matches up with Wycheck well...... George is usually a non-factor vs the Steelers.... I am not saying Pitt will win or cover, but its not as easy as it looks.... 4 points when the teams know each other well is a bunch!

Tenn riding a hot Mcnair has gotten them whee they are! Pity knows the playoffs likethe back of their hand! McnNair doesnt do that well against a Pitt D! Will remind me of the TB Monday night game..Pitt comes out sharp! Tenn is way overrated and I want Fisher to shave that stache of his!!

Go BURGH!!!!!

Championship weekend IMO:

Oakland hosting Pitt
Philly hosting TB

Philly SB champs!!

Again, just one mans opinion......no disrespect to anyone else:D

Tennessee is one of, if not THE dirtiest bunch of football players in this league. If Maddox was to go down, it would be a total disaster for Pitt. Maddox says he's put the frightening injury he suffered in his last trip to Tenn behind him. Don't be surprised if you see the dirty Titans take a few questionable late shots at Maddox. With that said, I like Tenn by a FG.

Haha, I knew that was coming. Yes, I will admit the Ravens can be dirty, but the Titans take the cake. :) I'm sure some would agree with that statement as well. :D

Good Fun

Good Fun

All in good humor Magi...:D :D

If you are refering the hit on Maddox as dirty, I take exception. Upon further review the play looked sloppy and clumbsy instead of malicious and dirty.

I think the dirtiest team by far is wherever Bill Romonowski is playing.

I hear ya... Romo is the dirtiest player by far... He spits , bites, and is a cheapshot artist.....

One day he will tick Boselli off and he will get crushed... , but then again, I may be dreaming!

Romo spit in JJ Stokes face.......and if he was on your team......you would love him. He's 100% behind his team.He wants to win and he dont care about stats...tv time or anything...just what a linebacker was suppose to be like. He's a throwback of Butkus and Nitski"sp".

So Cal
I was waiting for Cowher to insert Kordell last week. If Maddox goes down, I wouldn't be totally depressed to see Stewart come in. Obviously, Maddox gives the steelers the air game that can potentially outscore the titans. Scott coming back will help; Logan out of action won't help - but I think Scott is more important to the team "d" than Logan at this point. Will be an interesting contest.

Right Here
Chad Scott coming back is big, but Kendrell Bell is the key to this one. He personally stopped the run last week holding Green to under 20 yds. That was one of the best games I have ever seen played and it was on a torn-up ankle.

The key to beating Tennessee is stopping Eddie George and the only way Pittsburgh does this is with a healthy Kendrell Bell.

I say:
1. If Bell plays take Pit big.
2. No Bell......No Play

over?

over?

seems pitt is scoring and their D is really hobbled ...

tenn D has been avg 15 pts since week 6, but pitt could get 24+ if forced to air ...

Im tryign a 4 team ML home team parlay, pays 3/1 ... I know chicken crap bet but i could see the HF being huge this week, tho jets could win, sf and pitt too ...

not a big play but takin it

Titans have had two weeks to prepare and get the spread offense ready. Receivers aren't top notch, but Mason and Wycheck are very good and I look for a big day out of Bennett tomorrow, who I really like. Game won't be decided by George..he isn't the player he was even a couple of years ago and I think Fisher will concede Pitt stuffing him..naturally he will get token carries (a great deal of them if they are up in the second half) but it will be McNair's game..and from what I saw of him in the spread offense this year, he looked good running it.
