Wow - what a game...thanks guys for the kind words - this really was just one of those "what the heck" kind of plays...I really thought Pitt would cover the +28.5 tonight and I have been running really well for a while now so that always helps w/ taking a shot...looks like another huge week...
$23,000 on one play...I still am kind of in shock...payment won't be a problem - great relationship...and "the man" isn't hurting by any means - they have plenty of suckers paying them big every week...if not for being good friends they would have cut me off long ago...
That's the beauty of taking a shot w/ some long shots...upsets can and do happen...who could have explained +42 point underdog Stanford beating USC earlier in the year? One thing that made me believe I had a slight shot was Pitt can play defense...everything though went perfect though to make this happen...the refs - wow I don't like to blame refs for changing outcomes of games - but wow this one appeared they were doing what they could to help WV get the win - those 2 holding calls - very questionable - as well as the non-holding call on WV against Pitt...but that's how it goes...can't control what the refs will do...
I'm glad a few followed and cashed in as well - this was a big long shot - hence the big odds - but like i said all we needed was one team to win one game...injury to Pat White was huge...this really allowed this win to become a reality...
As for celebrating, nothing special - at least not tonight...just going to watch remaining games & go to bed...tomorrow is another day

BleedDodgerBlue - nice hit for you as well - it doesn't matter what you put on it - it's a very nice win - any win is a good win...I truely believe that - my goal going into the night w/ my 5 dog plays was to go at least 3-2...right now hoping to get the backdoor cover w/ Arizona to go 4-1, my loss for sure will be w/ Mizzou as they just got outplayed (again - really thought they'd get this game 2nd time around)...but as i said in my earier thread - i'd take 3-2 - a 60% night...i'll take that night after night...so happy to go at least 3-2, but the $23K hit really made for a special night...

congrats on the big night. i was w/ you at 28.5, never on the ML. i actually thought of you after those "questionable" calls. once pat white stepped back on the field, unfortunately, i had my mind made up the game was scripted and this was his Heisman statement. once things worked out for you, i obviously couldn't have been more jealous...enjoy it and it's right back to it for the bowl games. good luck and happy holidays.
