You may want to narrow it down a bit.

For example what you looking to do?

Ya know that sort of thing.

Are you going for the very 1st time?

I agree with kick if 1st time stay on the strip. I am sure there are others but stay away from the Luxor. Also to save money don't book rooms on Fri & Sat.

You gotta provide some background...
What's your age bracket?
Are you more of a four seasons, marriott, or hampton inn kinda guy?
Are you going alone, with a woman, or a group?

It all depends on how much you want to spend. If you want a nice room in a nice hotel you want to try Wynn/Bellagio/Cosmopolitan, if you want party atmosphere the Hard Rock (off strip) or Mandalay Bay, if you want center of it all I would go Bally's (older) or Planet Hollywood.

Stay midweek if you can Sun-Thurs...if not prices jump on Fri and Sat---especially if there is a convention in town....

good luck in your search, it can be a bit overwhelming...
