Hey guys,

I'm no NCAA hoops expert and hardly ever bet it, but help me out here. The game tonight....(probably not too many people betting it...but maybe there is opportunity here?).

This Oakland team I understand caught a bit of fire and won their tourney, but they were still an unbelieveably bad 12-18 for the year, the only sub-.500 team in the tourney. I see the opening line on this game was Oakland -10! :scared WTF?? A .400 team favored by double-digits?? VERY quickly, it was bet down, to Oakland -6? as of this writing.

Now...I can see why it was bet down, the line seems ridiculous. But I suspect Vegas probably doesn't get a tourney game (even if it is a 16 vs 17 game) THIS wrong too often. What's your take on this? Was Vegas this far off?

My first inclination is to go with Vegas...see how low this thing goes and then go with Oakland. On the surface the underdog just looks like a no-brainer here. Something stinks. Opinions?

OK has one big guy, the other 6-10,245 Ritzema hardily plays. Their other key player is the PG,they call him a one man press buster.

There are a few things to like about TX,they lost in the conference championship last yr and came back to win the regular season and the championship this yr .Very resilient team, they go 9 deep ,play great defense, and they are playing for a coach with cancer.

I not concerned about marshal, they have enough to cover his kind, the guy I worry about is Scott. Not sold either way yet.

GM - I'm curious to know where you saw -10. Site I use tracks back only to -7 or -6.5, but I came across one line (LVSC) that had the following:

LVSC
3/13 21:04 ET - Oakland -4.0
3/13 22:30 ET - Oakland -4.0 (132.0o/u)
3/14 15:57 ET - Oakland -6.5 (133.0o/u)
3/15 09:55 ET - Oakland -6.5 (133.5o/u)
3/15 14:27 ET - Oakland -6.5 (134.0o/u)
3/15 16:46 ET - Oakland -6.0 (135.5o/u)

I am leaning hard on Oakland myself as they're schedule alone has conditioned them for this game tonight. Marshal and Scott are obviously solid players and oakland looks to be the better team. Public is obvioulsy on Bama A&M because of Oakland's record. If line did indeed open at -10 that makes things even better in my opinion. If anyone has info on this I'd love to hear it.

Thanks
