The biggest factor, for me, is the disruption to the Rangers with Cruz's return. Cruz hurts the team and is now expected to be a major impact in the post-season.

I hear a lot of talk about how hot the Rangers are, winning 7 in a row and in a great position to win tonight. Let's not forget the Rays and Rangers have identical 8-2 records over the last ten. The Rays were playing winning teams, Rangers not so much.
