Congrats on your win but you really needed a few small miracles to beat Miami. If Miami played Ohio St. 10 times the Buckeyes might win once. Im not bitter either, I'm a UCF fan but just want to settle down the Ohio St hooplah, and shmucko coach "Now we've got the best damn team in the land!" Actually there are 4 or 5 teams better than you that would be favored on a neutral site against you. Instead of saying we've got the best damn team he should have said weve got the best damn luck in the nation. USC would absolutely destroy this team, Miami, USC, Iowa, Oklahoma, Texas and even Kansas St would be favored over this poor excuse for a national champion. So play the lotto Buckeye fans see if you can keep the miracles going.

give me an f-ing break, give them some props, it was not a fluke, cupple calls for both sides were scred up, and yes a lot of int's by mia, but thats football, and they were because of pressure from the ohio st defence

i would lay the ML again if they played again nxt week

and no i wont buy a lotto ticket

What a bitch post from someone who obviously lost money betting on Miami. You stated if Miami played Ohio State 10 times the Buckeyes might win once. What was last night, ass rag?? The first one doesn't count? Do you want a do-over? Why didn't the "great" teams you mentioned go undefeated this year? I mean come on, those teams are so "Big and Bad"....they couldn't have POSSIBLY lost a game, could they? It's stupid posts like yours that only reaffirms that this country is going to the crapper faster than.........Willis McGahee's draft status.

Go Bucks, go take your 24 posts and like Tressels nut sack, you DID win last night so that was your one win, Ohio St should never have been undefeated in the first place, theyre a top 10 team, no a champion, they should have lost at Purdue and ot against Illinois, thats always good. It wasnt just this game that was a miracle, it was a miracle season and it will go down as a miracle season for Ohio St fans, thats all I'm saying, lasts nights game could have gone either way but only b/c miami played terrible. I have never seen a team score 31 points with zero, 0, zero, 0 offense. Tony Kornheiser said it a while ago, Ohio St is a good team but their qb is pedestrian, although I have always said Dorsey is too. I'll give you that Krenzel did have a gutsy performance on the ground but to many breaks for Miami to overcome, and McGahee getting injured hurt a lot. So settle down there Go Bucks, and there is no arguing that on a neutral site, even after their win, Miami, USC, and Oklahoma would definitely be favored over Ohio St. Iowa, Texas and Kansas St would be close spreads on a neutral site but I still think they would all be small favs.:thefinger

Omar.....funny thing is, I truely feel that you believe what you are saying and there's nothing wrong with that as we all have our opinions, but man, you gotta learn to grasp the entire concept of what a "TEAM" is. Buckeyes are just that. You say Miami would win 9 of 10 of these games?...not so sure of that.... sportsbooks feed off people with that kind of thinking. Buckeyes deserved the cover and the win. When you say Miami played bad, what exactly do you mean?? If you mean struggling on offense, don't you think that has a little to do with the defense of the Buckeyes?? I mean do players fumble or quarterbacks throw interceptions on purpose? Those types of things are caused my friend....take a look at the whole picture....get over the loss and move on.

GL in the future.

ndnfan, first of all you are one of the few cappers I actually follow on this site, I strictly cap college hoops and coattail in football. However, to say that the miami turnovers were all caused by the buckeye defense is just silly. First of all the turnover on the pick return out of the endzone was a great play by Clarret but come on, the timing and ball positioning were just right, it was like an act of god, and then the Parrish fumble with 5 mins left when miami was down 21-17 and would have had the rock at the osu 20 yd line, it was like Parrish just let go of the ball. How can you say the win wasnt a fluke, Im not saying they should have got blown out but anytime your qb goes 7-21 for 100 yds and 2 picks and your holy running back had 22 carries at 2 yds per, you do not deserve to beat the best team in the land. OSU needed every little thing that happened in that game to win. Congrats on your win, I dont care that miami the thing that really bothers me is USC is the best team in the country right now and they should atleast get a shot at this Ohio St "Best damn team in the nation" I make USC a 14 pt fav on a neutral site, somebody argue that USC would not be double digit favorites against the buckeyes if they played in a few days. The main problem is the whole BCS setup, they should atleast have the top 4 teams in a playoff style postseason. This bowl system is just a joke, and Go Bucks, I meant to say take your 24 posts and go LICK Tressels nut sack not like, although I'm sure you like it too.

What game were you guys watching???? How can you say OSU deserved to win??

The canes turn the ball over 5 times, all back breaking turnovers.

3 in the first half, in their own territory. 2 miracle picks and 1 lucky fumble and the Buckeyes are only up 14-7 at the break???!!!!

Second half the chit really hits the fan. OSU gets gets the biggest break in college football in the last ten years. It was '92 all over again for the Canes. Then another bullchit fumble as Miami was going in for the winning score.

Then after all that, all their lucky breaks, OSU still neeeded the refs to decide the game for them!!!!

Are u friggin kidding, they deserved to win???? Like I said what game were you watching????

Bottom line Buckeyes are the national champions, 14-0, very impressive. But I agree with Omar, all OSU fans should buy lotto tickets, as luck is defiently on your side after last night.

Mayor of Columbus to Mayor of Miami (phone conversation)

"Please, please, I mean you guys have the fun, the sun, the beach, the women, all year round partying, can you please, please, please, please, let us have this one, please, please, please, please, we need it bad..."

Mayor of Miami
"Well alright... oh, Melinda bring me another pina colda, and put on the blue bikini while your at it...okay fine well let you win the game, I gotta go"

Omar....I'm not saying everything's not a fluke, but just trying to say that they're ALL not flukes. Being a Buckeye fan and getting to watch all there games this season, I can honestly say that what you witnessed is what develops a lot of times in their games. True you can't predict fumbles, etc, but it's not coincidence that these things happen when teams play the Buckeyes. Defense does cause a lot of these turnovers. It's not coincidence Miami only had 17 points at the end of regulation...it's been like this all season. And if USC was installed a 14 points, I'd thank the books again. All I'm trying to say is that things happen for a reason.

Laughing my ass off Lefty, Ndnfan I respect your post but I fully beleive that if Miami played Ohio St 10 times, once a week on a neutral site, Miami wins ATLEAST 8 of 10 with a couple blowouts. And I would love for someone to make an intelligent post explaining how Ohio St is better than USC, Iowa or Oklahoma. And I can't see any Buckeyes arguing the 14 pts they would be getting if they had to play USC next week. All I'm saying is they are CLEARLY not the best team in the country, not hating ohio st, hating the whole BCS setup, not hating the player hating the game. :gf: :weed: :gf: :weed:

ROTFLMFAO at these fools that still cannot accept Ohio St as the National Champs AND BEST DAMN TEAM IN THE NATION

Hey Omar, Lefty, and TCSN 10 years from now I know everyone will say, oh yea Ohio St won the Nat'l Champ Game, but Miami and USC and whoever were the best teams in the nation.

Give it up you whinnin ass***** OHIO ST IS THE BEST.

OMAR, YOU SHOULD TAKE YOUR NUTSACK AND HOLD IT WHILE YOUR CRYIN, IT MIGHT MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER.

THE REASON MIAMI PLAYED SO BAD AND HAD SO MANY TURNOVERS WAS THE BUCKS DEFENSE YOU DUMBASSES.

THIS GAME JUST PROVED THE SAME OLD POINT AS ALWAYS HAPPENS IN THE NFL GOOD DEFENSE WILL ALMOST ALWAYS BEAT A GOOD OFFENSE.

Still LMFAO AT YOU HATERS, DOUBTERS OR JUST PLAIN IDIOTS:thefinger

Your classless posts show who the true idiot is. I see you like using the finger alot as well, another sign of the high class you bring to the table.

I already congratulated Ohio State for winning the title but your too damn blind to see the post I made about it already but that doesn't change the fact that people have opinions who aren't homers.

You know damn well Miami's turnovers & that ref are the only two reasons you won. Even with the 5 turnovers Miami had during regulation, you STILL needed OT to beat them as your offense did SHIT against Miami all night yet of course that gets overlooked by the homer in you.

Miami handed the game to you & you still should have lost. What does that really say about your team? Take off the inbred glasses & get a clue.

Oh let me stoop to your level now: :thefinger

Is Ohio St the best team??? In my opinion No
Are they the National Champs?? Apparently so according to the back ref.

I admit OSU defense played better than I thought it would and harrassed Dorsey, shut down McGahee, and forced a couple of the turnovers....

However, the way I handicapped the game from the other side of the ball actually came thru..

Ohio States offense sucks and Miami's D would shut down the run (Clarrett 22 carries 45 yards).
Krentzel is a stiff and cant throw for shit (7-21 with 2 int's).
212 yards of offense in regulation, 5 turnovers forced and only 17 points on the board?

Tough to predict turnovers but that's what doomed Miami. Plus in the first quarter had they scored on one of those other possesions and went up 2 scores, the rout was on. OSU never moved the ball in the first half ( I think I heard they never crossed their OWN 30 by themselves....only did so by forcing turnovers on the 12 and 15 in the last 3 minutes).

Also, this OSU team lived on the edge all year, playing close games and somehow escaped every time???? Are you kidding me???

I still believe...

that Illinios scored in OT on 3rd down ruled incomplete

that Purdue..Cincy...Wisc..Ill should/could have beaten them given one break (hey OSU got about 20 this year).

that Gamble fumbled on the 8 in the 3rd quarter, ball just barely coming out before he hit the ground

that Miami should have been awarded the ball after their INT in the endzone when Clarett made the play...Rule states dual posession goes to the offensive player, in this case the defensive player IS the offensive player, and Clarrett NEVER clearly established he was the ONLY one with the ball when they hit the ground. Dual posession goes to the offense.

that the call in the endzone was NOT PASS INTERFERENCE. If you watch the play and replay, the DB NEVER touched Gamble. Gamble pushed off established some room and dropped the ball. The DB had his arms on each side of the receiver but wasn't touching him.

As for the non-PI call with 3 minutes remaining...that wasn't a GAME DECIDING CALL. Probably was PI but Miami still could have forced a punt and got the ball back. The play in OT was THE END OF THE GAME.

You guys keep referring to the referrees call, if hadn't been for the blown call we have all talked about on Ohio St last drive there would not have even been an OT.

TCSN, yea I read your congrats along with your crybaby reasons Miami still should have won.

Lets really look at who is classless, you popped off for weeks before the Mich game then the Miami game and you were proved wrong on both games LOOK WHO WON ASSHOLE

AND NOW YOU STILL CAN'T ACCEPT IT, SO YOU RESORT TO WHINNING ABOUT BAD CALLS AND HOW OHIO ST DIDN'T DESERVE TO WIN AND THEN BACK IT UP BY SAYING YOU DID GIVE CONGRATS, BUT IN THE SAME BREATH AS MUCH AS TAKE IT BACK BY YOUR CRYBABY WHINNING.

YOUR A JOKE AND HAVE BEEN EVER SINCE YOU SIDED WITH DEADBEAT smoothie.

Unlike you I give solid reasons as to why I believe what I do. You just choose not to agree so in your mind everyone who isn't on OSU's side is wrong, stupid, an asshole & any other name your limited vocabulary can come up with.

TCSN your not worth the time or trouble to debate with.

Someone said it earlier in some thread, the books thrive on your kind.

You keep backing losers and try and explain why they lost, I'll bask in the winners glow of a National Championship and the cash that went along with it.

Enough said to you and about you.

Though I can't help but keep laughing at you:lol:
