Overvalued and old Burnett who is tired and off two bad starts. The Reds play well against the Pirates, and hopefully Holmberg will have his control enough to hold back the Pirate hitters.

just told my brother same thing last night


I wish burnett could take a 15 day DL stint just to rest- we need him to be clutch down the stretch


Morton/locke just aren't enough on the back end..............liriano/cole Is about as potent as a 1/2 punch you can get- If aj can be good, not even great, we have enough pitching to take the division.....if burnett continues to regress we are looking at a wildcard home game


1-1 last two years in wild card homes games...........

year 1- beat cincy in wildcard and lost to STlouis in 5 games in divisional

year 2- lost to SF at home in wildcard- giants were eventual champs

Thanks, I appreciate it. Long season is hard on a dude in his late 30s who has that many innings under his belt. They should rest him a couple of starts.

Wish I had seen this response before the game!!!!Always try and see your thoughts on Pirates games but doesn't seem like you have posted many this year,miss them!!!Hope to see some posts about your Pirates soon!!!!
