Mike Bibby will have X-rays tomorrow to determine whether the fractured bone in his right foot is healing properly, according to the Sacramento Bee. Bibby hopes to return by the first of December, but the middle of the month is more likely

Shaquille O'Neal will travel with the Lakers on their road trip through Dallas and San Antonio, though he likely won't play until Friday against the Bulls, according to the LA Times. However, Lakers coach Phil Jackson wouldn't rule out O'Neal returning to action on Wednesday against the Spurs.

Quentin Richardson is eligible to be activated from the injured list after tonight's game, but the Clippers are not sure if he will be ready to play on Wednesday, according to the LA Times. Richardson is out with a bruised right knee.

Knicks head coach Don Chaney wouldn't commit, but did hint yesterday that Latrell Sprewell would start today's game against the Pistons, according to the New York Daily News. Sprewell came of the bench in his season debut on Saturday.


Yao Ming had his first productive game of his NBA career on Sunday, scoring 20 points on 9-for-9 shooting. He also pulled down six boards.

Grant Hill dressed for Sunday's game but his ankle was sore, so Magic coach Doc Rivers held him out to be safe. "I asked him about it before we went out to warm up and he said it was sore, so I pulled him," Orlando coach Doc Rivers said. "It's a day to day thing." He is expected to play on Tuesday, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
