Well, 23 years ago the Colts left Baltimore...Today they come back, cover and possibly win this game. Indy showed me something last week. If they can bring anything close on defense to the level of intensity last week, they will be in great shape. As great as the Ravens have been all year ,Manning seems to have their number. Give me Manning, Harrison, Wayne, the most clutch FG Kicker in the league & 4 points! OK...twist my arm.
Remember opening night at the Superdome? I do. The Hasslet era is over in New Orleans and I can't help but think the window of opportunity is over for the Eagles.
As good as Ried is, It will be tough for Philly ( or any team for that matter) to be playing on that field today. NO should win by at least a TD.
I will go with you and bet on the Colts since I will be rooting for them to win as well. Might as well put my heart where the $'s are. As you point out Mully, hopefully they can shut down the Ravens O.
I am 50 miles from the dome. I was at the opening game of the season and it was crazy. I have followed the saints my entire life and I have never seen a team this confident. They will win by at least 10 points.
Saints -5
I am going with the colts to at least cover in a 3 point game. The colts have had good sucess against the ravens.
Two coaches who love to mix it up and I believe both will do ANYTHING to win this one. Might see the playbook open up a bit tonight! A bit surprised to see this open so high.(was thinking 44 or 45),yet not much movement....
Chicago -9.5 (-110) Betjam Loss Under 37.5 (-110) Betjam Loss
As bad as Grossman has looked down the stretch, I really don't think it will matter today. Chicago's defense has won the majority of their games this year and that field today will be like playing on ice. Lots of freezing rain and cold temps in that neck of the woods the past couple days. I know revenge will be on the minds of Seattle and that could play a part in today's outcome. If Hasselbeck tries to get greedy to make a play, it will come back to haunt him. Alexander is not the running back he was last year, but I expect to see a heavy dose of him. Combine that with the two headed monster for Chicago's backfield and time should tick away rather quickly. Seattle had their window last year and now it's Chicago's turn.
San Diego -4.5 Loss
Sorry NE backers.....I know Rivers is no Tom Brady, but this is a team game and as good as Brady is, he won't be enough to do it alone. (I hope) Actually went back and forth on this one. This is the present, not the past. This is an older and slower Pats team and We should see two fresh faces in this years Superbowl.
