Line is now Boston -140 after Tribe goes up 3-0... Glad I jumped on this bet... Make that -145. Game should go according to last night with Tribe winning by approximately 2 runs. Just went to Boston -150... I guess knowone expects the Red Sox to go quietly tonight including myself.

man!...I hope you're right about this.

I could sure use a few Boston runs to actually pull off the miracle OVER.

No score through 4.5 innings.

yet...I'm still alive!

Nice call on the Tribe.

So much for the Tribe winning by a couple... they opened the flood gates and I like the Tribe to take down Beckett tomorrow.

Hopefully I'll still get my 2nd half with Boston considering I get an extra at bat @ even money:00hour

16-8 +112.7* for the playoffs... highest number so far:00hour

Opening line for game #5 is Boston -125... probably going to back the Tribe as they have won 18 of their 21 games at home including the regular season. They're undefeated at Jacobs field this post season going 4-0 with most of the games being easy wins.

Tribe have momentum on their side...

I'll need to think about this game as Cleveland has momentum, but Sabathia has been terrible in both post season starts while Beckett has been awesome.

Enough thinking, going with my gut instinct for game #5

Red Sox -120 for 12.5* - Beckett has been awesome this post season and I don't see this number getting any cheaper. Red Sox ripped CC in his last start and his control has been awful which is another concern. Public will back Boston, but public doesn't always lose as I have stated in the past. Beckett has an excellent post season track record and was excellent on the road this season. In a do or die game, I would rather take Beckett at a reasonable price than hope CC starts pitching good again. One of these series has to be a few games and I like this series to go back to Fenway.

Red Sox 15* to win 12.5*

Got a great number on Boston for the first 5 innings. I see Boston scoring early and often. I'm not a big fan of these halftime bets in baseball, but going to try it for game #5.

Adding Red Sox 1st 5 innings (-110) for 5*

5.5* to win 5* for 5 innings.

18-8 +132.7* for the playoffs. Doing better than I ever imagined for the post season. Hopefully the run continues through the World Series.

If Boston can win game #6, they win the series. Momentum has swung and I wouldn't be shocked after tonight's performance.

Game #6 - Tough game to call as I was going to take Carmona big if he was +125 to +130 again. However, the initial line is Boston -120. I know Schilling was rocked last Saturday, but he threw a gem in the ALDS as did Carmona. However, the Red Sox have momentum on their side after whipping the Tribe in game #5. Boston also has the confidence of knowing they have been in this position in 2004 and still won.

18-8 +132.7* for the playoffs... let's keep the streak going!!!:00hour

Boston -120 for 15* - I don't trust Schilling, but I like the Red Sox bats to win this game @ home. I think Borowski would have a tough time closing out the Red Sox as well & Fenway's crowd will be at a fever pitch and make a huge difference this Saturday night. Red Sox should force a game #7 IMO. Carmona's 7 walks in the post season is another negative as he'll be jacked up pitching away from home and make some mistakes IMO. The other reason I'm taking this play now is I expect the line to increase. Line was up to -140 in game #2 with these same pitchers. I'm surprised it dropped $.20 on the dollar. I don't see any value in the Tribe @ +110. I'd say Boston has a 60% shot or better at winning this game.

Adding Boston -125 for 3*

21.75* to win 18* on Boston... I would love to hit this play and break 150* going into the 7th game! If I lose, it's still been one heck of a run and I'll need to get ready for the World Series on Tuesday... GO BOSTON!!!:00hour

WOW! 7th game line is Boston -165... sorry, but I'm going the other way... too much value with the dog to pass at this price.

Tribe +155 for 14* - I know Red Sox should win this game easily, but this price is about $0.15 higher than I expected.

Tribe +155 14* to win 21.7* - Win this game and get above 170* for the playoffs. Tough going against Boston in this situation, but this price has too much value to pass IMO. GO TRIBE!!!

19-8 +150.7* for the playoffs... was planning on taking Boston until this line caming out way too high. Tribe take game #7 and make the books happy for game #7.

19-9 +136.7* - Sure I regret placing a losing wager on the Tribe, but a horrible call on Lofton at 2nd and then the poor decision to hold Lofton at 3rd crippled the Tribe. If you give Cleveland 2 more runs, they have a 4-3 lead going into the bottom of the 7th and it's a whole different ball game with Boston feeling tons of pressure. I'm not saying Cleveland would have won, but they literally gave up once they were down 3-2 and then Pedroia put the nail in the coffin with his 2 run homer.

Still reviewing the World Series and of course like the value with Colorado. Heck, game #1 with Francis @ +190 has serious value IMO. I also think Colorado has value for a series play +200 to +210 odds. I'm hoping this number grows between now and Wednesday as it has already grown since it opened earlier today. Probably won't post unitl Wednesday morning, but giving my early thoughts.

Rockies game #1 +194 for 15*

Rockies 15* to win 29.1* - Too much value to pass at this price IMO. Francis has pitched great in both post season starts and sometimes you have to expect the unexpected.

Francis has already beaten Hamels & Webb this post season. Why not Beckett for the trifecta?

I know everyone is expecting Colorado to get rolled in this series, but the Rockies have already overcome unreal odds to get to this point. They have won 21 of 22 so I doubt they'll be intimidated by the rough atmosphere in Boston. I expect the Rockies to keep playing well and they should have great value this entire series. If they lose game #1, I'll most likely try them again in game #2. I'm up during the post season by playing a lot of dogs with value and this is another live dog IMO.

Going to layoff playing the series although I see value with the Rockies. You would get a much better series price with a Colorado loss after game #1. I'm curious to see how Colorado performs in a tough environment (Philly & Arizona weren't the toughest environments).

Rockies also won 2 of 3 @ Fenway during the regular season FWIW.

19-10 +121.7*:com:

Why haven't I been playing Boston on the run line the past couple games? Today, everyone will be taking the Red Sox especially after last night. I'm still debating and going to workout and post my play early this afternoon. Still debating right now, but leaning Colorado.

I have thought about this game for the past 30 minutes and I have made up my mind. It was very tough to not take Boston on the run line, but I like Colorado to bounce back and hit the ball agaisnt Schilling tonight. Jimenez will be very tough if he can avoid base on balls which has been his achilles heel. Hopefully Colorado's bats jump on Schilling early as well.

Colorado +180 for 15* - This might be wishful thinking, but line seems a bit high IMO. Rockies had a little bit of stage fright last night and I'm worried about this carrying over through the World Series. However, I think Colorado is more likley to jump on Schilling than Boston is to jump on Jimenez. I'm also going to be watching the game with one of my good friends who cheers for Boston. Hopefully I'll have something to cheer about tonight.

Colorado 15* to win 27*

19-12 +98.7* - Should have never got off the Red Sox as they keep winning. However, I have already been screwed by Rockies so here we go again:scared

Game #4:
Colorado +130 for 8* - Line is inflated and hopefully Rockies still have the desire to win at least one game in the World Series.
