I was looking at the lines and I was surprised that so many totals were at 5 given the recent trend in lower scoring overall and the results last year in the playoffs that saw so many low scoring games. The juice on these totals was high so I wonder if books are trying to lure under bettors in with lots of -120 and higher totals that make it tough to make a profit.

A playoff total of 5 is just very tempting because getting that push on a 2-2 game that goes to OT is huge. I was just wondering if any of you guys were as surprised as I was to see most of the totals at 5.

I must admit I was shocked not to see 4.5 on Phoenix & San Jose. I figure Col-LA would have that but I also figured that game would have it too.

Yeah, I was surprised. Figured there would have been at least one or two more 4.5's. At first glance, some of these overs look good to me.
