SD (-6) over Jets
SD is rested and ready for this game. They have the home field advantage and the Jets just haven't looked very sharp of late. The chargers defense will focus on stopping the NY rushing game and the charger CB's should be able to stay in coverage on the jets WR's. SD special teams will have to play a good game because the Jets have been making big plays on kick returns. Still a rested LT, and gates should be too much for the Jets defense. The LB's will have to stay true to the run and the play action pass should be open all day for Gates. Scary that the last time the Jets were in the playoffs they laid the wood to the Colts but that was a different team and SD has been for real of late. They have the offense to score and the defense is playing outside themselves!

Colts (-10) over Denver
The broncos may have won this past weekend, but the Colts have a rested and ready starting team. James took one snap and rookies rounded out the defensive secondary. I'm sure dungy showed no sign of the game plan he plans on using this week. The broncos have showed of late they are not a solid team, yes they have potential but the colts at home will have the advantage. Denver is a solid defense against the run but have given up plays through the air. look for the Colts to capitalize on Lynch in coverage. He hits like a truck but does not have the deep speed he will need to stay with Indy WR's. He can cover Clark but not stokley! the Indy defense will be fired up and freeny should be all over Plummer. He has the speed to run right by the o-line of Denver on pass coverage plays. Denver has a great running game but you can't bring a knife to a gun fight and the broncos will have to abandon the run to keep up with Indy and that is when Plummer will make mistakes!

Like both plays a lot Irish.

Also looking at Indy -6 1st half. They should come out firing and run most o the second half. :bigun:

I still think that Indy wins by at least 2 scores, but the 1st half will be my large play!

GL this weekend Irish! Like the 2 plays myself but finding it hard to lay 10. Opting for the teaser instead to go with a middle in the GB/Minn game (GB pk & Minn +12).

Minny (+6) over GB
I'll lay 10 with the Colts because they have the offense to hang a big number on Denver but I am not comfortable laying 6 with this GB team. That being said I hate to play Minny because they have IMO the worst defense in the NFL. The reasons are many why to take the Pack, the Vikes play poorly outside, GB plays great in the cold, Lambo has always been kind to the Pack, and the Vikes are not a good road team. I'm not sold on the GB defense keeping the Minny WR's at bay. In the last match up in Minny, Closing mins of the game the Vikes had a wide open WR Burelson streaking to the endzone with no packer in sight. Culpepper fires a dart to him and he drops it. This is why I hate to play the vikings, they collapse and they quit but they do have talent on offense. they have enough talent to win or keep it with in 6. Both offenses should be able to score points but the teams are pretty much evenly matched. 2 games come down to game wining FG's and now all of a sudden GB is a TD better than this team? GB has not been as good as they have in the past at Lambo, the passing attack of the vikes can keep it close. Big guy like Culpepper shouldn't have a hard time gripping the football so throw shouldn't be a problem. Now it would be nice to see Moss play better, as of late he seems like he is just going through the motion. Still a Moss going through the motions is better than a lot of WR's in the NFL. If he comes to play no one in the GB secondary can stay with him.

Good like Irish!

I agree with SD 100% and like the Colts even more.

You mention a lot of good points with Minny as well. Dante had a QB rating of over 110 and if Randy shows up he will be matched up with Al Haris whom he has beat before. I do see this to be a close game while I do see GB winning the game cause they have a better team.

GL this weekend.. Bring home the $$$$$$$QUAN$$$$$$$$$$

The way the season ended this one should be a cake walk for the Pack...but...after further review...yes the Vikes have lost 19 out of their last 21 games outdoors...but...the Vikes always get up for the Pack...Minny has covered 6 straight as a Dog against the Pack and have covered the last 4 games in Green Bay..in fact the Vikings have lost only once in the last 10 meetings with the pack by more than 6.5 points...the Packers beat the Vikes by identical scores (34-31)in both games but Randy Moss was out for the first game...the Packers are only 2-7 ATS in their last 9 home outings and were only 4-4 SU at home this season...the Packers have the momentum but have struggled at home this season and are facing a Vikings team that knows that they can hang in this one and had a chance to win both meetings this season....I wouldn't bet the house on it because I feel the Pack will win this one straight up but with the points (especially in a teaser) the Vikes should stay within the number...how about:
Green Bay 30 Minny 24

GL in the playoffs Irish. Going opposite you on the Chargers and Colts. Played the Vikings but with the smallest of confidence. Hope you make some nice bucks from tomorrow thru the SuperBowl (just not all of it tomorrow :) )

agree with FirstnGoal, 2 and 20 on grass, but that is why the line is so high, 2 games 34 to 31 and vikes lose, third game and the vikes are plus 6, hello, im taking the 6 and OVER!

Seahawks (-4) over St. Louis
Everything is being made about the regular season games between these two teams. IMO that is a huge factor, both teams have struggled and the Rams have owned the seahawks! The rams passing game has out right flew by the Seattle secondary. The Seattle running game has cut through the rams defense. So both teams can move the ball on offense, and the defenses have to make big adjustments. Offensively the seahawks need to account for LITTLE and if they stop him they almost neutralize the St. Louis pass rush. The secondary for the seahawks WILL have the opportunity to create turnover but they have to execute.
