Royals +176 and rl -130

15 units each

Stupid line

I haven't quite figured out why these lines get inflated 40 cents for the playoffs when I dogs cover at a higher rate in the postseason. This matchup in regular season is -140 at the most, probably -125 to -130.

really want to pound Jays tonight but seems square-ish. i think getting out of toronto and playing on the road will be good for them. i had tex big games 1/2 and dont really want to give any back. thoughts?

I feel the same exact way. It's completely square and Estrada isn't exactly trustworthy, but I really think they win. Price is reasonable too. I will be on Jays and rl. And over

Makes no sense. Maybe more casual money in playoffs that like betting faves?

Definitely some of that, but i think more just stupid sense that these teams somehow have a better chance of winning when it "means more" which is complete nonsense considering baseball is highly random and its tougher to win when pressing. I mean they put up these numbers every year and people just chase these favs. I don't get it. If you put the White Sox in the playoffs this year they could win WS, baseball is just a hot/cold/luck sport in the short term. You play the regular season to buy yourself a ticket to the lotto.

I hammered this too. Jays so good to me last night. Might zig zag them today?

Nice. Wind blowing out and strong - Wacha shaky, and if anyone can find a way vs Jake right now, it's the Cards.

Jays were nice and easy, too bad I threw some away on Over. I'm actually leaning towards the Jays again today. Holland is unimpressive and I can't see him containing this lineup. Dickey is a huge wild card (usually the bad kind), but will be on a short leash with Price ready to take over. Feels square again, but I think they get it done

Yeah I keep thinking Jays have wrestled control back here, but I am not sure.

That wind is a big bonus and got me down early. Wacha has had major control issues with his fastball the last two months (probably from a tired arm). If that's not better with the rest, he will not be effective. Cardinals can score off Arietta, this is a super low pressure game for them too which helps. My biggest concern here is that Cubs are tight in what amounts to a near must win. The pressure is all on the home team in a 1-1 game with a major pitching edge. That could result in a tight low scoring affair. Also not crazy about either of these managers as they like to do stupid stuff like squeeze in the 2nd inning lol.

Dickey has good "control" of his knuckle ball in the usual sense, it's just that it will not dance for him at times and under certain conditions. For what it's worth, he says that it is warm and humid in Texas, and both of those things are good for late movement on the knuckler.

Just a little FYI and good luck on all your plays today, guys!! :00hour

Especially if you are playing the Jays. :toast:
