Alright, boys - just got 3 tix to the game - taking my 2 sons and sitting 1st row between Cards dugout and home plate - Look for Jord20. I will be the guy rooting for LOTS of runs and pretending to care if the Cubs win or not, lol.

Can always spot the guy at games cheering for both teams.

You forget I'm a) a professional poker player and b) have swung lots of $$ in my career between betting and trading to remain stoic and/or fired up depending on the situation. LOL

And the Piscotty dong sends it over 13 +750!!

Good times. Unbelievable they posted a 7.5 for this game. Wind out at Wrigley in regular season is minimum total of 10. Doesnt matter who is on the mound. Too much casual money in these games.

It was funny cause i was so pissed i had 13 when i was looking at 10, 9, 11, 11.5, 12, 14, and just randomly picked 13 and i looked like it would just stay under. Lucky ducky sure was worth the shot at that price.

Playoffs: 40-33 +110.05

Thanks guys. Fun day yesterday - what a game that was. Pretending to not be happy when Heyward smashed the 2 run dong to send it over was pretty hilarious.

Bombs - insane hit on that team total.

Wow - Kershaw - 0-5, 6.06 ERA, 1.26 WHIP in last 5 playoff starts

My initial thoughts for later were...

Dodgers and over
Cards and under

Can't pull trigger on Cards game today. Agree number looks like its searching for Cubs action, but just think Cards have reached end of rope. Cumulative effect of numerous injuries parlayed into overused pen and now bunch of dead arms. No Molina as well a sizable blow. Two pivotal moments in series were the Game 2 2nd inning giveaway by Garcia (after Maddon/Jackson basically offered themselves out of the jam) and not pinch hitting Wacha in the top of the 5th of game 3 and getting him out of the game when he was clearly done and incredibly lucky to only given up 2 runs. Just looks like a team on fumes to me. I know its baseball and lots of teams have looked buried and then bounced back, but I don't see it here. Not to mention Peralta in huge funk but stuck in 5th hole due to limited options. 3 dead spots in order with catcher, Peralta, and pitcher while Cubs hitting up and down. Cards are pros and will battle and Hammel is a huge exploding gas can backed up by a gas fire bullpen but I just dont see this one. Passing for me and hoping its Mets/Cubs. Live arms of Mets will be Cubs demise. Hoping hard for another Arietta start so from gambling perspective Cubs advancing sets up well for me. The signs of problems were there Pittsburgh but friendly ump, tough outs, and poor pitch selection by Pirates kept him afloat.

I'll pass here and look for a better opportunity but I think gun to my head writing is on the wall and Cubs advance.

Yeah, I totally agree with almost everything here. I feel Cards are done too - still shocked how much they achieved this year, frankly. Cards side is definitely my least favorite of the 4 plays today. I really just see Lackey dealing again. Sure, he was a gifted a big zone in game 1, but I think he gives the Cubs hitters fits again. Winds are really swirling to right, but it seems more like a cross wind, than an out to right wind - I'm going to ask some peeps at the Field now. I think the under is the play in this game - even though hammel could suck, so does the Cards lineup.

Totally agree on Arrieta, got the Over fade last game, and think there will be nice value against moving forward. Pitt was hitting the ball HARD vs him late, but those double plays he just got lucky that they went right at the D.

Update from Wrigley is this...

Tough - a little swirl but mostly left to right. Balls were going out in batting practice, but nothing crazy.
