Filled first one in:

Chargers +14.5
Chiefs Ov 47
Philly +18

Maybe a little snow in the morning Saturday in KC but nothing big so it will be a little chilly but no major weather to affect this total. KC simply does not have the defense to play a low scoring game. Philly's defense was impressive against Chicago and New Orlean's offense has struggled against some good defenses this year. Philly's D will keep them in this one.

Of course the weather changes against the over play, but I still like it in a teaser. Not as much though and I would change it to Indy if I were to do one today. I think Indy will keep this close and the weather plays in their favor as they should be able to run the ball against the poor KC defense and keep Mahomes off the field.

Glad the weather scared me off. Can not believe how bad the Colts are in this game. Really have to question their defensive strategy after watching how the Ravens and Chargers played them. Guess they thought keeping Mahomes in the pocket was a good idea. And their offense is just simply pathetic. Just a horribly played game for the Colts. Hard to believe this game is likely going under the teaser total.

There was way too much love for the Colts and there is too much love out there for the rest of the dogs so I am changing course a little and doing this ML parlay:

Rams
Pats
Saints

Pays about +140.

Can thank old man Vinateiri for not hitting the teaser. Enjoy your retirement!!

I guess I could also thank Luck and whoever that receiver was that dropped a wide open TD pass or the idiot that ruffed the kicker or the Indy coaches for a bad game plan. Teaser players on Indy and/or the over really took it up the you know what in this one.

Ohhh man I feel your pain Bason. After that dumpster fire of a performance by Luck and the Colts, I was hoping to salvage some of the loss with a cover of my in play +15.5 bet. Figured it would come through until that GOOF butterfingered the wide open pass in the endzone in the last minute. Honestly, that was one of the most frustrating loses I have taken in an NFL game in a long long time.

Was definitely a sick ending and it cost me some money, but I feel confident we get it back today as I am liking the favorites more and more.

Already have the ML and probably will add a teaser if the Pats line drops to 3.5.

Nothing Vegas likes better than making money when the favorites win and cover.

Hit the ML par to squeak out a small profit for the weekend. Will take it after the Indy fiasco.

Pats looked like best team to me this weekend. They basically copied the Ravens defense against the Chargers and Brady was Brady. I like Mahomes a lot, but I will take Brady when it counts.

Like the Saints at home and already put this in:

New Orleans -2.5 -135

Will add some more info later but I wanted to get this in.

I added even more to the Saints today.

I try to use the KISS method in the playoffs and I think both games fall into about the same category: QBs and rushing defense.

People tend to get so focused on QBs and the passing game that they forget that both the Ram's and Saint's offensive success is based off the running game not the passing game. The key to this game is which defense can more effectively stop the run and the clear cut answer is the Saints. Their rush defense has been great all year, while the Rams are ranked 23rd. If the Rams have trouble running they have to rely more on Goff and I do not think he can carry this team. His success is based on the success of the running game. If both have trouble running, who do you trust more to win passing: Brees or Goff. Easy answer for me, Brees all day long. Plus we get the home field advantage. Really like the Saints in this one.

My analysis for the Patriots game is more of the same. People do not think of the Patriots as a rushing team but they are 5th in the league running the ball. Kansas City's defense is 27th against the run. Brady is playing with a chip on his shoulder and Mahomes playing for his first Division title. I would still rather have the game in Brady's hands versus Mahomes right now, so:

New England +3.5 -130

Also a ML Par that pays +265

New England
New Orleans

Thanks!

I like the NWE over NO play. I also like NWE to simply win at +300.

Trust me, I definitely do not want to see New England win another Super Bowl, but I have said all year that there is a lot of mediocrity in the NFL this year and no one team is without flaws. For me, I will take the best coach and QB in the history of the NFL playoffs when all 4 remaining teams seem to be about equal.

I hate the NFL. I really do not bet it that much, but I was doing well so I kept it going this year, but this Saints loss puts the nail in the coffin for me. They were clearly robbed by the officials in this game. There is no way to defend the no call for pass interference. It was a clear and obvious penalty that definitely cost them the game. The Rams had not right winning this game. Not going to waste anymore of my money on this league.

I also think Sean Payton called a horrible game. Terrible red zone calls, not trowing the ball down the field and totally messing up the end of the game.

Sorry for the rant, but I do not mind losing games but I seriously mind being robbed of my money which is exactly what happened today. Can not wait to hear the NFL try to weasel their way out of this one.

I agree Payton called a terrible game but Saints were robbed by the official. I am losing my interest in even watching this sport.

I agree Lowell and I have thought that for a while. I just hate what the NFL has done to the game. I am sure they will be hyping both games like they were the greatest ever, blah. blah, blah. The truth is that the officiating in both games was absolutely terrible, and it was so bad in the Saints game that the wrong team is going to the Super Bowl. I think that is a complete disgrace to the game I once loved. At the end of the day the NFL is a business and I think they could care less about the integrity of the game.

I am over and done with the NFL. For what it is worth, I think the Patriots beat the crap out of the Rams.
