troy st.has returned 17 starters from last years team. their defense last week stifled, on the road, a very potent marshall offense, allowing 11 first downs, 25 rushing yards, & 202 total yards. btw, last year marshall led the mac in rushing offense.

troy st.has an absolutely strong defensive front line that can dominate an inexperienced missouri offensive line.their d is quick enough to chase missouri qb, smith around all game.

missouri's defense seems to be questionable after allowing ark. st.to score 20 points & gain about 350 total yards.

troy st.does not have a very good offense but imo they should score enough to stay within the number.

troy st. is 43-7 su at home for the past 10 years, with only 1 loss by more than 7 points.

mich.'s win last week vs. miami oh was very misleading. they benefited from 7 turnovers, but had 14 first downs, ran for just 2.9 ypc, & gained a total of 274 yds.mich. had only 1 scoring drive of over 20 yards.

for some reason this rivalry has been dominated by the dog....going 15-3 ats in the last18 games.mich. is 12-21 ats as a road favorite under carr.

last years results for college favorites covering a game the week after winning an ot game is 2-14 ats.

2*penn. st.-1......

alot of peole are on penn. st. for this game, but will still stay with them anyway for this game.

this year bc has a young offensive line, will be missing their top runner(whitworth) & will be going against a psu defense that is very good.

psu is 11-1 ats as dogs or short favorites in their first road game of the year.

2* alabama -10.....

alabama is out to revenge last years loss to miss., while miss. is starting a young qb on the road in a hostile stadium.

i don't like laying points on the road (think there will be more cuse fans in the stands than buff. fans), & am not a fan of the syracuse coach,but think this game sets up nicely for cuse.

cuse is coming off a game in which they were shutout.i like to play a team the week after being shutout. after that game the cuse ad stated,"the outcome of every game is important" i think the cuse coach & it's players "got" the message.

eventhough buff. covered last week vs. e. mich., they couln't even beat e.m.after e.m. turned the ball over 4 times. to me that says alot about buff.

last week buff. surendered 248 yds. rushing to e.m.& last year they allowd an average of 5.3 ypc & allowed over 200 yds. rushing in 8 of it's 12 games.I think reyes & co. will do much better than e.m did with their option attack.

cuse is 8-1 ats vs. mac & 21-9-2 ats as an away favorite.

buff.is 5-10 ats as a home dog & 2-6 ats as a double digit home dog.

syracuse is 87-22-1 ats (80%) in their last 110 games when they rushed the ball for more than 200 yds.

it's my pleasure. i don't know if you watched the syracuse game, but if you didn't, consider yourself lucky.their offense sucks.buffalo was stuffing the run & their qb's were pretty bad.but i'll take it.
