I posted the following in the hockey forum not long ago. Thanks to the dozens of e-mails I have received from the CFB cappers and thank you to the people who posted in this thread over the last few days who wished me the best, topdog, puckfan, gman2, Augur, NY Reb, DR.S, Viic Inzagio, ajoytoy, saint, txhorns, loungelizard, CWood97 & Cie Grant. First off, ks, it was very nice of you to post a thread urging me to stay in the hockey forum. You are a stand up guy. I am posting one final time today as I feel I owe it to everyone who posted in this thread and for the over 100 e-mails I have received since stating my position about this forum overall. I did not have one bad e-mail for the record which was nice.
To clear some things up, it was not just one incident that made me leave. It was a culmination of many incidents from asshole posters who are not even cappers because they never post a play. They post garbage that has nothing to do with capping and I personally feel it brings down different forums as it should be moved to General. I know I am not alone in this matter from the e-mails I received. So when nothing had been done after my countless attempts at having these idiots be accountable for their actions I decided "why should I put up with it when nothing is being done about it?"
If I was to bash back which is what I was told to do, then I would not only be lowering myself to their level but also I would become what these idiots have made me to hate when I see this garbage.
Overall, most of the people on this forum are great. I have seen way too many great cappers leave due to bashing. I see them posting at other boards. It makes no sense to me to allow these idiots an opportunity to post. It seems MJ's would rather lose quality cappers than ban jerks. In all my business dealings you keep your best customers happy. As Cie Grant put it in the CFB Forum, it is not MadJack that made this forum great it is all the posters who made this forum what it is.
If any of you want you can get my e-mail from Jack as we are not allowed to post our e-mail address. Dr. S. and many others on this site have my e-mail address as well and they would gladly give it to you. I will pop in now and then to read a few of my fav cappers but I will never post here again. As many of the people who e-mailed me said they understand that I am not going to post again as they feel it is a matter of PRINCIPLE.
