Thanks guys! Should be a good game today, at least I hope ASU makes it a good one and I am sure they will.
Adding:
ASU +14.5(-150)* (bought the 2pts.) - Loser
I had to take it when I saw the line this morning at 12.5.
Couple things that I think favour ASU. One being USC without two of their top players on defense. RB Hill should be able to run the ball. The ASU defense actually has been solid in the first half the last 2 games but as the game goes the ASU offense has been inconsistent and it has forced the ASU defense to be on the field for large periods of time. If QB Walter can sustain a few drives and the emotional letdown of losing in 3OT last week to Cal, I think ASU can keep this close and definitely stay inside the number. Does another top 10 lose to an unranked team this week?
Vandy +6.5(-150)* (bought the 2pts.) - Loser
Again, same thing with Miss St. defense. They are on the field way too long as they game progresses but they have a very young and inexp. defense. Miss. St. has allowed the opponent each week to score a multitude of points. I think Vandy could win outright as they have not turned the ball over much this year.
Fresno St./Col.St. u52* - Winner
Fresno St. is very sound defensively and always seems to do just enough on offense. The Rams on the other hand have been inconsistent on both sides of the ball and with the Bulldogs not killing themselves with turnovers I think both teams will sustain a few drives and kill the clock with their running game.
Oregon St./Calo53* - Winner
Both teams have a hard time defending and this should be a classic Pac-10 shootout. With Cal possibly having a letdown they might get down early and force themselves to open it up even more spelling lots of scoring. I believe the Beavers offense kicks it into high gear and put up 34 on the board. Like the over.
Rutgers +28.5(-125)* (bought the pt.) - Winner
Hokies are giving up way too points on the road. Rutgers will bring the best game of the year so far as this is their Super Bowl. Rutgers is slowly improving and has actually kept it close early in games against schools in years past would have been blown out early. Rutgers stays inside the number here just like last year.
Troy St. +29(-125)* (bought the pt.) - Loser
Huskers are much improved but I think Troy St. on D gets it done today and stays inside the number. Way too many points and the Huskers might get caught looking ahead to next week. I will take my chances and grab the pts.
Off to the USC/ASU game shortly. Hopefully when I return home later I have had a great capping and not a poor one. I am tired of average days.
