rice over/unders are so tricky. theres just no consistency to their games with that option attack they run. i know theyre trying to open it up a little more, but theyre still a grind it out team.

who knows what to expect from them.

an absolute shootout? see: rice/san jose 70-63.

an absolute grinder? see: rice/houston 10-7.

tough call. somebody needs to jump out early to put some pressure on the opposing offense.

FYI....that total is now 61.5 at 5Dimes, looks like I just happened to be logged in at the right time.

Again thanks, looks like I will have a very nice middle opportunity if I decide to go that route.

Sorry to hijack your thread MC, best of luck to you of course this weekend. Like that UCONN play as well.

yes i agree

But this is the last game of the regular season neither team has anything to gain or lose.

I think the coaches are not going to take a defensive posture on containing points scored ...last who has the ball will win theory applies in this game. Possible to see 80 or 90 points is my thinking.

thx for the input and Toledo posts

Today's top story ... Cincinnati QB breaks hand
Cincinnati star QB Gino Guidugli slipped on a star and broke a bone in his throwing hand. While doctors told him not to throw, he's going to try to get on the field for the Louisville game even though he's technically doubtful.

ACC

Maryland
As a result of sophomore Joel Statham’s benching and true freshman backup Jordan Steffy’s concussion during last Thursday night’s game, the Terps are expected to start redshirt sophomore Sam Hollenbach for Saturday’s game against Wake Forest; Hollenbach began the season as the No. 4 QB on the depth chart …

Virginia
Sophomore starting WR Deyon Williams is questionable for Saturday’s game at Virginia Tech; Williams, who missed last weekend’s game versus Georgia Tech, is still hampered by an ankle injury

Virginia Tech
Junior starting TB Mike Imoh, who was already questionable for Saturday’s game due to a hamstring injury, has also had to battle a case of the flu and has been held out of practice this week; If Imoh is unable to go, junior Cedric Humes would get the call; Humes was the starter for the Holies’ first four games this season …

Big Ten

Iowa
Head coach Kirk Ferentz, who was named the Big Ten’s Coach of the Year on Tuesday, signed a new deal which guarantees him at least $1.6 million per year through the 2012 season

Pac-10

Southern California
The Trojans may get a lift on Saturday, as some of the previously wounded are expected to play against Notre Dame; Sophomore starting WR Steve Smith (suffered broken leg on Oct. 9), junior starting WR Chris McFoy (knee), and senior starting OG John Drake (high ankle sprain) have participated in practices this week; Head coach Pete Carroll indicated that Drake may not start, but he would see playing time … On defense, junior safety Scott Ware (foot) and senior CB Kevin Arbet (knee) could also return to action this weekend …

SEC

Arkansas
Senior star QB Matt Jones continues to be slowed by a hamstring injury, which has limited his practice time this week; Jones, however, is expected to start, but his dual-threat qualities may be limited by the injury, which may force him to operate mostly from the pocket

Florida
Cleveland Browns’ head coach Butch Davis has reportedly expressed an interest in the Gators’ vacant head-coaching position; Davis has been rumored to be out of a job after a 5-11 season in 2003 and four straight losses this season

South Carolina
The University officially announced the hiring of Steve Spurrier, who receives a seven-year deal that will pay him an annual guaranteed salary of $1.25 million per season; Spurrier’s overall collegiate record is 142-40-2, which includes a 12-year stint at Florida which produced a 122-27-1 mark … Click here for more on this story (University Official Athletic Web Site)

Tennessee
Senior starting center Jason Respert, who was hospitalized last week due to an infection in his hand, is still listed as questionable for Saturday’s home game versus Kentucky; Respert, who has missed the past two games, will have his blood analyzed this week, which will help doctors determine his playing status for this weekend … Junior starting OG Cody Douglas (mid-foot sprain) will not play in Saturday’s game

WAC

Boise State
Liberty Bowl officials announced that the Broncos are its first choice to replace Utah, regardless of whether BSU wins its final game versus Nevada this Saturday; The Broncos appear headed to Memphis unless it gains an automatic bid from the BCS … Head coach Dan Hawkins’ name will most likely be mentioned for several head-coaching vacancies this off-season, but his contract is filled with financial incentives, which may help to keep him in Boise

This is how lucky my week has gone so far, on Thanksgiving Carib gives you five bucks to play on the lottery as a holiday gift. So I played my five bucks and never thought about it or even checked the Ohio lottery numbers, so when I logged on today I saw my account was plus $792.00 as the midday number in Ohio was 331 the same number I played. What a fluke of luck, so I might as well play every game today so lets toss the SAW +3.5 onto the fire!

Well another season gone. Tonite made it very prosperous.
I want to thank you for your posting info thru out the season.

Next year I'll post early in the week on the Laugher Picks in your thread so players can get a jump start.

I normally don't have many picks during bowl games. Don't want to give back any winnings but i do have 2 or 3 i really like. I'll post as they come up.
Best Regards
