Been difficult for me to get on here during the day. . . but here's what I have for tonight:
Best Bet:
Ole Miss +1 over Miss St. . . surprised I'm not getting the usual support on this one (GMoney, Volfan, Wizzard but I haven't seen his plays yet, etc.), but I think this is a very solid play. It is a rivalry game and sure, I'll go with the fact that anything can happen, but Ole Miss has won 10 out of 11 at home. . . only loss to Tennessee by 2 points. Home team has won 8 out of the last 10 and the last five straight. I think the line has moved in Miss. State's direction because they are the ranked team. Well, throw out the rankings and records for this one! Ole Miss should be favored in this one and I'm willing to play it big.
Other plays:
Georgia Tech laying 5 over North Carolina. . . like the home team here. . . not big on the Tar Heels yet. . . especially on the road.
West Virginia +15.5 over Notre Dame. . . I'll take the points with a gritty team like WVU.
Michigan +13.5 over Illinois. . . sucker bet? Sure, I'll go with that. . .but Illinois hasn't impressed me at all. Their physical play could lead to a blowout here, but there's just something about Michigan. . . I'll ride the hot team but just an average play here.
