Started the season off on fire...went an amazing 8-0 in the NFL last week...hope to keep it going...

College YTD: 8-2-1
NFL YTD 8-0
Total YTD 16-2-1

I just have a couple games this week that I like and I played them early to avoid line movement because I don't believe any movement in these games will be in my favor...

419 St. Louis @
420 San Fran +3

St Louis -3

Even though San Fran beat them twice last season; I'm not buying the 49ners just because they were able to put up points against Arizona a defense I don't consider very good. I look for Stephen Jackson to have a pretty big day and I think St. Louis if healthy by season end will be in contention for a wild card.

421 Arizona @
422 Seattle -7

Seattle -7

Seattle didn't look good last week but I think this week we see why this team could go to their second straight SB. They are a little banged up for this week's game but I think they are to show off in their home opener. Plus even if Branch plays or not I think the acquisition will add a little spark to this offense. Once again Arizona put up points on a bad defense and I like Seattle D to pretty much put a clamp on this offense. Not to mention Seattle beat Zona last season by a margin of two TDs in both games. Seattle rolls in this one.

The rest of the lines are pretty tough this week and I have a lean on Jaxs on Monday at home as well...and I am going to watch the betting trend and if most of the money stays on Pitt I will be playing Jaxs for sure...

Good luck to all whom play!

I'm looking at the Hawks too Thom. They're a completely different team at home and they usually handle the Cards pretty easily in Seattle. A word of caution though... Seattle's pass D is pretty weak. Boldin and Fitzgerald could very well have a field day. And FWIW, the local media said Branch won't play at all on Sunday.

I also lean to the Jags and also the under as well on Monday. Good luck Thom. Keep the roll going!

I like the Hawks as well. Look for a big day from the Hawk OF, specifically D Jack and Alexander.

But I'm going to lean toward San Fran. Bulger has a new center this week. Andy McCollum, Rams starting C, tore his ACL & MCL last week and will be lost for the year. Now Larry Turner will start at C this week. Turner was cut from the Rams last year but was resigned this year as a backup. Niners coach Mike Nolan (former Baltimore DF Coordinator) knows how to put pressure on QB's...they did a nice job putting Warner in the dirt last weekend and they'll find a way to take advantage of the inexperienced C. Niners, in my opinion should have won that game. Buy they made some stupid mistakes, dropped balls, etc. It will also be a tough day running for Steven Jackson against the Niner D (not in the comfort of a dome on artf turf), which were decent against the run last year as well.

This will be a tight game but I give the edge to the Niners. GL!

Great Insight!...I took the injury into consideration but I didn't want to allow it to change my mind about the play...Sounds like they are going to move over one of the guards to play center...The defense had Julian Peterson their second leading tackler last season who is now gone but Young, Parrish, and Smith are all solid players for this D...The thing is Alex Smith and the 49er offense just doesn't scare me and I really like the Rams up front...I think they'll be able to shut down Gore and get enough pressure on A. Smith to force TOs...But you never know because SF did beat them twice last season...Good Luck to you Jman...

Thanks guys...didn't do too great yesterday in college yesterday (3-2) and went down to the tailgate for OSU and was drinking red bulls and vodka @ 9am...long story short blacked-out by half time of the OSU game and woke up in hotel room this morning with my girlfriend downtown and then immediately went to Waffle House...she tells me I'm a happy drunk and that we had a lot of fun...but what really sucks is I missed all the great college football yesterday...

Back to whats important...

Playing NE -6.5

I like Wash tonight...7 points seem a little high in a division game...and the way Dallas looked last week Wash could get the win even with Portis out...

Played Wash +7 and
I see some value in the ML +255...
