Last night 2-1 +.41 Units
YTD 36-28 +8.47 Units

Habs/Sens - Habs came out hitting in this one and tried to assert themselves physically but it was Ottawa who answered the bell and pushed back in a big way......won 2 fights while Montreal showed no emotion or energy in the 3rd period, they completely packed it in. Anderson stood tall again. I am surprised by this Ottawa team winning without Spezza who is their central puck carrier and top faceoff guy!

Hawks/Wild - Harding got pulled after allowing 2 goals on 4 shots. Wild had numerous chances in the 3rd and in OT. Hawks in my opinion hung for the extra point as it was the Wild that showed me more legs and energy.

Oilers/Yotes - Nice road win for the young Oilers! Oilers PP continues to carry them. Yotes dont have much depth with their fowards, therefore showing a lack of scoring. Johnson for the Yotes looked good again in goal!!

Avs-Nucks - Didnt see any of this one, just drained by 11pm to watch alot of hockey after a long day.

NYI - ML(+126) for 1 Unit
This team has it all, solid D, super goaltending and scoring from all 4 lines. NJ was lucky to beat NYI a week ago in Long Island, give me the Isles who are a confident bunch.

Pens - ML(+106) for 2 Units
NYR has shown me nothing this year, inconsistent as heck and without Callahan, I think it hurts the Rangers depth on the right side. Pens are a rested crew having only played twice over the last 5 days and will look to rebound after a horrible effort at home against NYI.

Panthers - ML(+102) for 1 Unit
Florida has to end this 5 game losing steak and with the Jets on this 3 game roadie, with alot of travel yet again.......Panthers have played once in the last 5days, so you get a nice rested Florida team.

Flames - ML(-161) for 3 Units:scared
Avs playing their 4th game in 6 nights on the road and 3rd in 4 nights while the Flames havent played since Jan. 26th, the Avs have played at Edm. and Van. and now travelling back to Calgary, all while Calgary didnt play a single game during that span. I think Calgary struggles early to find their legs but will put it together in the 2nd and 3rd and pull away being by far the fresher of both teams. Incredible spot here for Calgary!!!

Great writeups on the games tonight. I also like Calgary in this spot. Avs havent shown me much these few games so far and Calgary should be well rested. Like the way Stepniak is playing too. Big boost. GL tonight!!

Wow......Calgary......I dont know what to say. You are the rested team and coming off a nice 5 day rest.......yet the Avs outplay you in the 3rd period when you should clearly be the better team.

6-3.......but it was tied with 3 min. to go......McGinn scores on a horrible.....soft goal from around the post.......Kipper looked brutal on it, then Calgary got caught up ice for the next quick goal then an empty netter. I would have capped this one the same way even after the way this game went.......sorry to those who tailed. A huge night became a losing night in a hurry.
