Don't be sorry. I am still on the right side of the grass. I thought you knew. Stage 4 throat cancer. 39% chance to make it. I defy odds. Everything is good so far. Next pet scan this month. I don't look to far ahead. 1 day at a time.

Enough about this. GL tonight.

Longhorn, I thought most people in MJ's seen my post. That 's why I didn't post for about a year and a half. I did what Dr's told me. They were honest, they said we have to almost kill you to make you live. They were right 6 weeks of Chemo , pounded 35 times on my epiglottis and 35 times on my lymph nodes. 5 days a week for 7 weeks. Spent month in hospital, 7 weeks in nursing being feed by a tube for 6 months. End of story. Got out a nursing home 10 days before Covid hit the USA. You talk about being blessed!! When I walk in to see the Dr's we look at each other and laugh. I never thought that I could laugh again. I said you know you fuc$ers almost killed me. They said we didn't lie to you, we told you that is what we had to do. They said your attitude is what saved you. Anybody going through this stuff, KEEP FIGHTING!! I have been in remission for a year and a half. Back to being the crazy 72 year old man I always been. Just minus 3.5 packs of cigs and 12 to 14 beers a day7.:00hour

Man, so awesome that you're recovering. I agree that attitude is very important in overcoming. I lost my brother to non-Hodgkins lymphoma three years ago. I saw what chemo and radiation did to him. It was sad and cruel. He was 66. Keeping fight, BA! :0074
