Hey BA, I see you and Ray are on the Twins tonight. I coattail you both often, hope I am not to heavy.
Just wanted to know your thoughts. I see Radke got shelled last meeting 5.1 IP, 9 H, 7 R, 7 ER, 2 BB, 2 K, 11.81 ERA. That was career vs AZ and not sure when it was. Also holds a 5.13 ERA on the road. Estes does give up a few too many walks in comparison and both have given up the long ball often, as of late. AZ at home and a dog, I see only one way here. Any thoughts. GOOD LUCK!!!

Hi Owl. Here is Why I like Minn tonight. I think Minn takes 2 of 3 in this series. Ariz playing bad right now. Minn playing so so, I think they are going to heat up. the Big thing is Minn 6-1 in Radke's last 7 starts. His only loss was an inter league game. I think he evens that up. Ariz lost estes last 3 starts. I will keep riding both streaks. Radke going good, Estes going Bad.

Thanks for the reply. I missed those stats but still going with AZ. One thing is for sure, one of us will win tonight. Good luck on all but Minny. LOL

To answer your question -- Radke's loss to the DBacks was on June 15th, 2003. He gave up 7 runs over 5.1 innings in a 12-8 loss at home. That's his only appearance against Zona. I find it hard to take some of these interleague stats seriously since it's such a very limited sample. Not like a division foe who a pitcher could face 5 times in one year.

Blackman is right on one of the things I always use. 1 inter league matchup has no meaning to me. 2 or 3 times at that park. Okay.
