Between Green Bay and Iowa City
This is only the second week I've liked the NFL card, so I'm trusting my stuff. I do wish I'd made one or two of my plays earlier this week before the lines moved, but I never really start or finish my capping of the card until the weekend.

Kansas City(-7) over St. Louis (1.5*)

- - St. Louis just beat the Super Bowl champs and division rival at home; did it the week after playing San Francisco on a Monday night game at home . . . No way can I cap this game and see St. Louis taking to the road and matching the energy of the Chiefs returning to Arrowhead (with the city buzzing over the World Series to boot).

Philadelphia(+1') over Arizona (1.5*)
- - Arizona's has been great with turnovers, and backup quarterbacks, and skin of their teeth stuff, and carrying on despite being banged up. A rested Philadelphia team which can match the fine coaching job being done in Arizona now has QB Foles going back to Arizona and they will be carrying my cash.

Baltimore(-3)(+102) over Cincinnati (1.5*)
- - Baltimore is getting healthy, while Cincinnati is not. Baltimore took a rare loss at home in the season opener to Cincinnati, while Cincinnati is looking to extend their club record unbeaten streak at home. Hopefully the steam on this one doesn't cost me.

Indianapolis(-3) over Pittsburgh (1.5*)
- -

Seattle(-5')(-115) over Carolina (1.5*)
- -

New York Jets(-3)(-103) over Buffalo (1*)
- -

Miami(-6)(-119) over Jacksonville (1*)
- - I could easily drop this play.

Oakland(+7)(-125) over Cleveland (1*)
- -

Houston(-3)(-135) over Tennessee (1*)
- - And I could easily drop this play; I'll be hoping for a split with the Miami play.

Chicago(+6) over New England (1*)
- - More desperate than New Orleans, but that's because they still suck.

I hope I?m seeing things . . .

Seattle(-7) over Arizona (1*)
- - Seattle has multiple problems in smallish doses, but as big as any has been the offense depending hugely on Russell Wilson?s legs. Still, in my catechism, this is a really, really strong spot for the champs to stay within hailing distance.

Green Bay(-7') over Minnesota (1 Biscuit)
- - Zimmer?s embarrassed defense from Lambeau figures to play very hard, but two touchdowns seems like the margin here.

San Francisco(-9') over Washington (1*)
- - RGIII doesn?t need to be handed a test this week on what he can do against a sound defense, but he has that exactly, and he?s going to fail this week.

Tampa Bay(+5)(-120) over Chicago (1*)
- - Whether it?s true or not, Lovie?s team will be believing they know how to rattle Cutler. IMO, a good spot for whatever second wind Tampa has caught to continue for their "player's coach", and IMO that plainly trumps what I see for Chicago?s salvage operations coalescing and building on a favorable foundation.

Dallas(-4)(-125) over New York Giants (1*)
- - This non 8-8 Dallas team starts this game just fine, and then finishes better than the Giants. With my money.

Cleveland/Atlant(Ov48)
- - Following.

Miami(+7)(-125) over Denver (1*)
- - I hear Miami is really healthy (and hopefully fresh) and sort of relishing this test, so I?ll take the points.

Indianapolis(-3')(-120)(2h) over Cleveland (1*)
- - It's obvious the heretofore lowly Cleveland Browns want this game far more, and are much better prepared, but the outcome seems so likely to come down to either Luck or Hoyer needing to close the deal, so that means a hedge, even at a bad price.

St. Louis(-6) over Arizona (1*)
- - One team has all the true pressure. One team gets to host another prime time spotlight, even if a Thursday. Seems a tough matchup for Arizona to in any way close on the heels of the crazy way their last matchup went down.
